Dave Mustaine is a very smart guy, even if he didn't always make good decisions. He was out in front in the metal community writing about social issues, government mistrust, equality, consequences of war, foreign affairs, drug abuse, etc. beginning in the 80's along with Metallica. Both very talented and relevant bands even to this day.

I was in ninth grade when this came out. I remember it because I painted the album cover in art class LOL. And I know people will shred me for this LOL but on this album? And the one before it? The guitar player and drummer were from my little city in Western New York. This guitarist used to play guitar with my father it was really cool I got to meet him once

Bruh, Megadeth is far from underrated. Dave Mustiane is the Godfather of "Speed metal" and everyone knows that, BUT .. and there is always a BUT ... if that comment you mean that people have their heads shoved way up Metallica's ass'. I agree totally. Megadeth is totally heads and shoulders above Metallica. And I think they are disrespected by saying they are under them. My opinion of course.

@@Rob-wu8fm Yeah was no disrespect was meant. Some people get crazy when someone challenges opinion. I just didn't agree with them being underrated. I think they are just distracted because Metallica set the standard and people followed it. Sort of like Pearl Jam and Nirvana when grunge came out, when Alice in Chains is way better than both, but when you think of that genre it's those two bands that stand out. Just my opinion though.
