This video is truly one of the best and my favorite. You guys cracked me up going to look for a hot drink. Going up those stairs and then Chris, your reaction coming back down was hilarious. I'm sorry, I just found it funny. You and Carol are so down to earth and comfortable visiting these places and you are very respectful towards the citizens of the countries you visit. Thank you for showing La Paz & El Alto.

You are already tired from traveling and still have to go out to shoot this video. I really appreciate it. It is the first time to see a cable car so close to buildings. It is exciting and interesting! If it hadn't rained, that market would have been really nice to visit. What a pity! That city is very lively and all kinds of buildings are mixed together. I like it! If there were dry camels under the house, I wouldn't feel good look about it but scared, Mamma Mia! Thank you so much for sharing, super great job!👍🥰🙏

I’m thankful for the Englishman in Chris to search for the hot drink, preferably 🍵 tea! With KZbin I have been to Bolivia several times (on my tv) and this was a great insight to the people & their culture. I’m with Chris on the car-parts, very interesting to see the goods at their market - but the tiny-taxidermied alpacas hit my heart - American’s do that too with alligators and starfish at souvenir shops near the beach. Keep up the great work! My personal tip for today: take tea bags with you, then you only search for hot water. Safe🙏🏽travels!

Nice to see you in La Paz! Mi Teleférico has been a great investment for the city, allowing locals to quickly travel between El Alto and La Paz. It is nice that they keep adding lines like the silver line you took (it was not there in 2018). It is too bad that the rain hindered your time in the El Alto market. 😏There is some REALLY good food to be had there. In Central & South America, a Cafetería is a common name for a place to eat that does not have table service (think US cafeteria style). I am sure that you have moved on from La Paz by now, but if not, I suggest taking the green line to Zona Sur to represent both parts of the enormous city properly. The affluent neighborhoods of Calacoto, San Miguel, and Los Pinos. Settled several hundred feet below the wheeze-inducing heights of El Alto, you will find a warmer climate and easier to breathe air. This area is like a bubble for Bolivia’s wealthy class, and you will find several high end restaurants like the Michelin-star restaurant, Gutsu. Personal budget-friendly local food recommendations for Sopocahi: • Don Pollo (various locations) • Doña Leña (Chicken) • Arco Iris (Bakery) • Mercado Rodríguez (for cooking at home) • Hipermaxi (stall outside selling Choripan, Panchito Lomito & Hamburguesa • Honguito lll (grilled meat, sandwiches) • Not budget friendly, but if you need a traditional US breakfast, Alexander Coffee has you covered

I can see why you choose sit down eateries instead of buying street food, because those places look a bit sketchy with sanitation standards. Bolivia looks like an interesting place to visit and take in all the culture of the area. Happy travels JP, looking forward to more videos.

Love the cable cars!! It's scary of how low they ride over the houses and buildings... I can't believe what the weather being like that that they love ice cream you would think that they would want hot tea or hot chocolate and that would be widely accessible in that region...interesting! The views outside your window at night that's really pretty it's not New York City but it's still pretty...
