Malaysia is not just about Indian Curry but you should try out the Malay food as well in Kampung Baru, KL. We got plenty of foods here in KL. Malay, Chinese, Indian, Baba Nyonya or Peranakan(Malay combined with Chinese influences), Malay-Thai foods. Welcome to Malaysia.

*don't forget to try your luck in Malaysia's only casino located on top of the mountain called Genting Highlands.. its's only 1 hour drive from KL, its a resort area with theme park, hotel, crazy futuristic malls and the best of all is spring like weather in a tropical Malaysia*

90 days in malaysia ... not much to do as you cant go to the islands of the east coast and taman negara is not advisable for me..... but you can do road trips up north on the west coast and then north......if you are making kl as your base try going to sungkai/kalumpang for the hot springs..melaka for history and muar (the royal town of the state of johor to savour their specialty, satay, soto and mee bandung for breakfast)... then you head to port dickson (a beach town), for fishing villages and paddy go to kuala selangor/sekinchan you can also go firefly watching and even some history as it was once the administrative/ royal capital of selangor.. you can also go to the highlands ie. genting highlands (casino and all things capitalist and commercial) cameron highlands (agricultural strawberries, tea, flowers) and fraser hill ( a laid back highland resort).... going to pangkor island (perak) is also nice, or even a train trip from kl up north with stops in sungkai/tanjung malim for the hot springs, ipoh, kuala kangsar, (the royal town of perak , nice architecture) ....taiping (city of first) for mangrove tour and river cruise or you can go to kuala gula bird sanctuary, taste mee udang kuala sipitang, then butterworth (penang island) , sg petani for the lembah bujang archeological site, padang besar ( thai border) .... you can also opt to go to sabah and sarawak.... and for christmas you can attend Majlis RUmah Terbuka Malaysia (Malaysia Open House) as you i think you missed the one for deepavali just yesterday....

We did like all the vegetarian Indian food which was easy to find and really good. And plentiful tropical fruits. Probably the highlight was how people in KL celebrate NYE with so many fireworks!! That was awesome. And some of the beaches we went to were beautiful. Friendly locals too 😁

Best thing about air Asia is the price and the worst is the leg room so make sure you have short flights.
@AprilandTimTravel5 жыл бұрын
The prices are pretty good. We just purchased a long flight with AirAsia 😂 Hopefully its an empty flight so we can stretch out...

Hey you guys, just discovered your page and already went through a dozen videos and subscribed ;). Anyway, love your videos and definitely love South East Asia. Looks like am going to have to go through your trip backwards since you got so much up. Just a suggestion, it'll be much appreciated if you give some reviews of the hostels you stay at (like the one at the end of this video, stayed at Backhome KL in Chinatown when I ran through Kuala Lumpur and it was great). So have a good one and as always, cheers.

Welcome to our channel 😀 We would love to give reviews of hostels but don't really have time, plus its a bit weird filming the other people that are staying there (we often stay in dorms), so we mainly just give insight to the Airbnb's that we stay at.

my most stressful part of air travel is during the plane takeoff, best part is touchdown.

If you get to the twin towers early in the morning you get free tickets to go up to the walk way. The monorail takes you to the big night food market. Have fun in Malaysia it's our favourite place love the food.

Unfortunately they've stopped the free passes 😭 our hostel was very close so we went and had a look. Its a nice building from the outside, quite an interesting design.

Hey Tim you can download youtube videos to your computer using Firefox and a free plugin for the browser. You can download them as mp4 files up to 720p quality. Just do a search on firefox youtube video download and read the reviews to pick the best one. So no buffering required the clip is always on your computer to enjoy.

You really seem to enjoy life. And you actually stated the name of the city correctly; Well done, so many people say Kua Lumpur', my teeth grind every time I hear that!!

Haha that's great to hear! Normally we have people telling us we're saying things wrong 😂

Did they tell you it is the stormy rainy season haha...

We realised after booking the flights! But it actually hasn't been that bad. It normally rains at night and some days it hasnt rained at all. The forecast makes it seem like it rains all day, but it hasnt.

where did you put the toilet paper in Thailand?
@AprilandTimTravel6 жыл бұрын
In a bin next to the toilet. You're meant to clean with the 'bum gun' (a hose thats next to the toilet) and dry with toilet paper which then goes in the bin....but most toilets dont have paper so then you have to air dry...it takes some getting used to!
