I love that "Bow down or die" look Godzilla gives Rodan as the other Titans gather around him after delivering the kill shot on the last Ghidorah head with his Atomic Breath. Also, if you don't recognize Dr. Ilene Chen or her sister Ling Chen....their actress, Ziyi Zhang played Hu Li in Rush Hour 2. Also, I LOVE that they recycled the Toho Studios Godzilla theme music and roars for this movie. And the male soldier that said "I think it's got somethin' to do with his goddamn head growin' back." is O'Shea Jackson Jr., the son of rapper/actor Ice Cube.

The callback to the original Gojira was so cool. In the original, Dr. Serizawa used the oxygen destroyer to kill Godzilla. In this movie, Dr. Serizawa used an atomic bomb to power him. In both movies the doctor sacrificed himself for humanity. Godzilla going critical is another callback to Godzilla vs. Destroyah when if Godzilla went critical, he would melt down and destroy the planet.

This was a great movie for us godzilla fans who grew up with the original movies. Just because Mothra, Rodan and Ghidorah were from the originals. And seeing them in a modern remake with the cgi graphics we have today is special, so good. And yeah, Godzilla and Ghidorah are arch enemies, they are like Optimus Prime vs Megatron or like Batman vs Joker lol

King Ghidorah has fought against Godzilla the most in most of the movies he's appeared in, most incarnations of Godzilla have their own King Ghidorah. Great reaction! To me this is my favorite of the Monsterverse movies! This was a love letter to the Godzilla franchise since it came out on its 65th anniversary. Mothra (the queen), Rodan (the bird), & King Ghidorah (Monster Zero) are all iconic characters in the classic Japanese films. Mothra & Rodan at first were in their own solo individual films in 1956 & 1961 before they crossed over with Godzilla in 1964. Rodan (the bird) is both a friend and foe of Godzilla most of the time lol. 1964 was also where Godzilla met Ghidorah. Ghidorah is Godzilla’s nemesis (the Joker to his Batman). They fought each other in a lot of the older movies. He’s called “Monster Zero” because it was a nickname he had in one of the older films. Mothra is always good in every version. Similar to Kong, she has a soft spot for humanity and the planet. Her being dubbed “queen of the monsters” is a nod to the fact that in real life, she’s the second most popular monster in Japan next to Godzilla. In a lot of her appearances, she’s seen as a goddess of a island. Her & Godzilla have a love/hate relationship in every version where she’s one of the only characters that beat him in a fight. They are Yin & Yang of the titans which is why they were apparently shipped for years and this movie popularized it more to mainstream. Lol. In the Monsterverse, they seem to have a close connection and you can tell they care for each other as you can see Godzilla mourn her death. Can’t wait for the next one, considering Godzilla is now a king and Kong is a king, you kind of see why they’re gonna fight. XD Sorry for the long comment btw. ^^

Just an FYI, Mothra is immortal. She's like a Phoenix. If you noticed, she and Godzilla had a history, yet Mothra is a larva when we meet her here? She's died before..and has been reborn before. She's a badass.. she'll be back in other movies too probably

This is my fav monsterverse movie till date. I never thought that I would cry over a gigantic monster. ! Simply the definition of epic. But unfortunately this didn't get the love it deserved , coz it came out on 2019 , the same year when Avengers Endgame came out. So majority of the people kinda overlooked this masterpiece....

The head that you see in the end is named Kevin/San it's the left head of monster zero/Ghidorah and it's also the youngest of all the head and the one in the right is named Ni and his the second oldest of the tree and there's Ichi the oldest of the tree and the one in command,I hope that helps you two 😊

Also don't worry about Mothra death this isn't the first time in a Godzilla movie where she does it's part of her character. She starts as a egg then a larva, cocoon then adult then lay a egg then die and repeat. Also the chen sisters are a reference to Mothra twin priestess in the ToHo movies the shobijin in this universe Mothra and Godzilla are allies and have a symbiotic relationship that goes back thousand of years that's why Godzilla was able to go burning mode that's part of that symbiotic relationship while in the ToHo movies it depends on the movie in general if they enemies or friends also the reason why you didn't see Kong is because well one this is Godzillas movie and two the reason why he didn't show up is because when Ghidorah woke up the other titans he also woke up a bunch of skullcrawlers back on skull island so Kong was busy with that it's explained in the novelization. Kong was in the skull island. When he heard Ghidorah's alpha call summoning all of the titans, Kong ignored it because it's not skull island's problem. What shows Kong is also Alpha like Godzilla and Ghidorah.

Godzilla’s design went through some well needed changes for this movie…he got taller. Bulkier. His tail was lengthened but was given a rounder tip. His feet were changed a bit. And more importantly, his dorsal plates were heavily altered to closely resemble the plates of the original 1954 Gojira. With the canonical explanation for these changes being a battle with muto prime in the monsterverse comic Godzilla aftershocks.

Your guys reactions are great, raw reactions without sounding all PG, leaving the swears in to add real emotion/reactions. Godzilla movies always get me in my feels, im sure the new one will be the same! Doc and Mothra both sacrificing themselves for Godzilla hits deep, the sound design is phenomenal, the visuals are great, there's honestly so many small details to the movie that make it amazing! This movie show the 4 big kaiju (giant monsters) from Japan. Gojira, Rodan, Mothra and King Ghidorah, there's like 40 movies about just about these 4... It was so freaking cool. There's also so many vilains in their old movies that isnt introduced and could potentially be introduce in the Monsterverse...

KotM is a love letter to the franchise and an homage to Yoshimitsu Banno, the man who helped make the MonsterVerse possible and Haruo Nakajima, the original Godzilla suit actor. They actually showed Kong for a brief moment in one of the small screens right before Mothra hatched from under the waterfall. And yes, the Ghidorah head we see at the end is the one that Godzilla ripped off in the ocean right before the humans messed everything up with the oxygen destroyer bomb. Godzilla was having the upper hand over Ghidorah in the ocean, he was in his element. But of course the movie would have been a lot shorter if he won then and there

I highly recommend Batman: The Animated Series it's the greatest adaptation of the Batman Universe and in my opinion it's one of the best written superhero projects out there. I'm shocked reaction channels haven't reacted to it yet they are missing out. Justice League Unlimited is also the worth the watch.

Yes, the Ghidorah head Godzilla ripped off in the ocean is the one they retrieved, probably fished out of the water by fishermen, fishing boat, don't know how, huh safe it would be, but all those fish, other oxygen starved sea creatures floating to the surface, fishing boats probably thought they could clean up, and along with everything else, the former king Ghidorah head floated to the top as well,..this movie, so amazing, so glad, not just Godzilla, but Ghidorah, Kong, Mothra, Rodan, getting reinvented, just brilliant, and brilliantly done,..some think the human side of the story is a waste of time, they just wanna see giant creatures duke it out,..but from the beginning of Godzilla, and Kong, all the way back to first Kong movie, in the 1930's, the human element was always key, they're not just on the planet alone,..in the monsterverse lore, here millions of years, long before humans, but eventually humans came along,..and although we came after the dinosaur age, we humans have always lived, shared the planet and benefited from that, love how it's always interwoven in the monsterverse, should always be,..great reaction, keep going, Godspeed, Peace ✌
