Biggest crash I ever had when racing minis was when we were on a dry track and it started to sprinkle. I was running down someone I had never beaten before, so all I was focused on was passing him. Instead I high sided myself to an other zip code! 😨 I didn't know it was possible to launch yourself that high on a mini. I know one thing, high siding at 35mph was bad enough, I do not want to experience it over 100mph! Be safe! Great video! And yes, you are a "Lucky Man" to have a wife that not only supports hobbies that you like, but actually enjoys them with you! She is a rare find!

I guess the moto gp riders don't know anything about warming up tires or keeping the tires warm because I see them doing all the stuff he said not to do because doesn't work. I understand is not all you need to do but it does help better than nothing, and I do understand the temperature is created by the flexing of the rubber. I have over 100 track days. Going to the same track this coming weekend Jennings gp is a little fun track. Thanks for the video
@SALTxTHExWOUND2 жыл бұрын
I’ve never actually seen a MotoGP rider swerve to warm up their tires? They use tire warmers, but they may do it from time to time when coming out of grass or gravel pit to knock the debris off the rubber before going back on race line. Have fun!
@grandtaino2 жыл бұрын
@@SALTxTHExWOUND coming out of the pit sometimes which I can't understand and also approaching the grid after their warm-up lap. It's probably a habit. Fabio does it a lot. I personally don't do it at the track but on the road I do sometimes.

Q3s are perfect for that kinda cold rainy weather... where they start to fail is in the heat like 110+ they melt on hard acceleration still confidence inspiring though
