Clever how you are planning to get them into trailer the night before. You have continued to use your learned experience to improve process each season!! 👍👍👍

What helped me to keep my workshop a lot more organized: „Before you buy equipment, you should finde a place for it to live in. After that it is just a matter of putting the equipment back to its living space.“ The advantage is, that you always know where your equipment is and that it will be a lot tidier.

While you're not doing anything ... the front of the trailer has a rusted out section at the floor level. Fixing it now is a simple task versus waiting until it becomes cancerous and spreads. My steps would be: 1. If you wire wheel the inside perimeter at the floor level up two inches (from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock at the nose, aka perimeter width of the trailer) you will be catching the current and future issues. 2. Prime the bare metal. 3. See if you can find a "moderate gauge" of 4" angle iron (good idea to use one piece, likely to be around 8' long). 4. Drill appropriately sized holes in the angle iron (selected as the bottom piece) to use for attaching the angle iron to the floor. 5. paint inside of the trailer and the angle iron on all sides. 6. Place the "center" of the length of the angle iron at the "apex" of the front of the trailer with the flat side against the nose of the trailer and the other flat against the floor. 7. Starting at the Apex, attach the angle iron by "Force Conforming" the angle iron to the shape of the trailer (screwing the angle iron to the floor, but also flat against the nose of the trailer ... You might have to notch the metal slightly to get a good fit.) 8. After a good fit, apply a good quality sealer in the gap at the upper part of the angle iron to keep water from invading the gap (some people tack weld here, but it means you have to do paining on the front of the trailer). You should be good to go for a long time. If done this way, you can replace the angle iron later (using the old one as a template) if corrosion recurs.

Hi Country View Acres. Yes, those turkeys are big. Your Family will appreciate organic turkey as they will feed a lot of people. Question. Are all your freezers/refrigerators on the walls that are part of the exterior walls? I wonder if having refrigerators and freezers next to the exterior wall and not having curtains or shades to block the sun might be decreasing the refrigerators and freezers efficiency?

Awesome turkeys. That size would be great to take the breasts off, because the breasts are huge and would make excellent Texas smoked turkey breasts. Basically, salt and pepper the breasts, put on smoker at a gentle temp (like 250F), then put the breasts in foil with a stick of butter for the last 20 degrees F internal. One of my favorite bbq meats, maybe even more than brisket.
