Dormammu well let's look at it from a girl's perspective. Most girls don't care to watch Star Wars and some don't know anything about it at all. Primarily because they have the silly believe that it's a guy thing.
@MrFireworks8887 жыл бұрын
+Alex Williamson'sadventures That's a very stupid thing to say. Yeah, there are slightly more male SW fans than female SW fans, but most girls don't think SW is a silly "guy thing". There are plenty of female SW fans, trust me, and even then, the female non-SW fans don't think it's a "guy thing", they just don't care about it.
@The_blindpizzaguy13007 жыл бұрын
Like I said it's a silly thing but if you talk to an actual female about it you will hear it's a guy thing. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of girls Star Wars fans out there, but it either goes to one extreme or the other The females that do Love Star Wars are really into it or they don't want anything to do with it. And I told my girlfriend when we first got together, "you need to at least give Star Wars a try, or this relationship isn't going to work."
@MrFireworks8887 жыл бұрын
Alex Williamson'sadventures We obviously have different experiences so I'm not saying you're wrong, it just sounds really sexist and close-minded to say "most girls think Star Wars is a dumb guy thing". Even though your personal experience likely supports that claim, I don't think it's really true.
@PauseFilms7 жыл бұрын
MrFireworks888 Not sexist at all. Men and Women tend to enjoy different things. This is why "chick flicks" or romantic comedies have a higher rate of women watching them while action film demo are men. Just look at the box office numbers. Sure we're generalizing but the FACT remains fortunately the number of women star wars fans are increasing.

Heroica Knight, obviously, but there are other orders which might be better than just OT the PT. For example an interesting order in found was to watch 4, 5, 2, 3, 6 (you can throw in ep 1 between 5 & 2 if you want).

Mega MovieZ I also whole Hartley agree with your statement as well.Also further reason I now realize that anyone new to Star Wars, neva ever eva eva watch them in order. Come to (over)think, they should never have been titled by episodes. Cause everything is so ruined if you watch 1-VI instead of IV-VI then I-III. Spoils mostly Empire's best storytelling reveals. Ruining the dense substance and backbone Star Wars gained from it. I respect Lucas for all, but damn he shoulda thought of that,making prequels like he did.

Pretty sad that such a significant and important plot twist has lost all its punch and effect because it became so iconic that it's pretty much spoiled for everyone, to the point where people shame those that don't know about it like they've been "living under a rock". I can't imagine how it must feel to see this scene completely unaware of the twist, and it must be very thrilling. With that said though, I feel like this reaction could be fake, it seems sorta unconvincing.

How can you not know this? I forced a couple of friends to watch Star Wars for the first time and whilst they were surprised at the depth of the plot (they just assumed it was space battles and lightsabre fights without a plot), they already knew Vader was Luke's father. You don't need to have seen Star Wars to know that, because its so ingrained in popular culture. Its like asking someone what the Star Trek ship is called or what a Dalek is. You might not get a perfect answer, but most people know the basics. How is it possible to not know this? The twist at the end if Jedi I've seen catch people out, but not this one.

Go back and watch "Revenge of the Sith" . It clearly shows that Anikin is already on the path if no return because of the Emporer(?) . And Padme is pregnant, but doesn't know she's carrying twins( Luke& Leia). So, when Vader tells Luke, I Am Your Father, he's telling the truth. But he doesn't know about Leia(?) because they were seperated at birth to keep Vader from knowing about them.
