"Andy and Tanya's GREEK House Update - Autumn 2023 🍂
Hello there, lovely viewers! It's Andy and Tanya, and today we're excited to give you a quick update on our house and all the happenings around here. It's been a while since we did one of these together, hasn't it? Oh, right, I was in Spain for a bit, and Tanya, did you manage one on your own while I was away?
You did? Ah, yes, the one about painting doors, but it wasn't a full house update. Well, that's because there hasn't been too much to update lately. We've had a flood and some unexpected visitors, so we had to put a pause on some of our grand plans. But we'll show you what we've managed to accomplish so far.
The weather is getting chillier, and our vines are starting to brown. We've even crafted a gate from old chairs because we were tired of dogs visiting our garden. The pomegranate tree is looking good, but Andy may have over-pruned it a tad.
Our oranges are ripening again, making this the third year in a row. Crazy, right? We need to tackle the weed situation on our gravel area. Looks like Tanya will be on weed mat duty this week.
In the house, we're gradually upgrading the lighting, as you can see, but there's still much more to do. Our workshop has seen some electrical work and plans for a multi-functional space are in progress. We also managed to salvage some marble, which will be perfect for our window sill.
And don't forget to check out our lively Facebook group, "Living in Greece," where you can join a thriving community. Thanks to our fantastic patrons and potential KZbin members, we can continue sharing our adventures with you. We're also preparing for an upcoming Q&A session.
Stay tuned for the next update, where we'll be harvesting olives and warming ourselves by the wood burner as the weather cools. It's all happening here in Greece! Thanks for watching, and as always, remember to like, share, subscribe, and leave your comments. Your interaction helps us beat the KZbin algorithm.
See you in the next one, and take care! 🌿🏡🍁"Living in Greece - OUR GREEK HOUSE - Live in Greece Update (After 2.5 Years) OCTOBER 2023. Your accountant is your best friend after your lawyer, we struggled to find a good one, the greek tax system is hideously complex so you can't do a self-assessment as we can in the UK. We have just changed accountant and now use Mary at Kleopas Alliott: m.moustaka@alliott.gr
