quick chile tip for everyone reading: their state roads are alphabetical north to south (A all the way north, etc) so if you see a road sign with a random letter on it, then use how far down in the alphabet it is to make your regionguess A-C is usually the desert vibes, D and E are north of Santiago, F and G are around Santiago, H-K are South of Santiago, and then the rest are more farming//forest/mountain vibes as you go further south

Loving it. One quick tip for US v CAN (round 3 duel 1), the gas price can help. I saw 427 which would indicate $4.27. This would be too expensive for a litre of gasoline. But with gas being sold by the gallon in US, this price would appropriate be for a gallon.

some tips for south america that you missed early in the vid: 1. 1:13 you had the right idea about Agave plants in Mexico, but 90% of the time it will always be in the middle of mexico, around Mexico City. 2. 12:06 full yellow roadlines in South America is always Chile

You’re videos inspired me to set a goal to get better at GeoGuessr this year. Not in like a “well if he can do it, than I can” way but in a way where its helpful to see someone else grinding to get better and learning metas, and sometimes forgetting them or getting them mixed up. The pros make it look like it’s easy, and obviously it’s not and they’ve been training for years. So to see someone else around the same level as me (when you first started) and progressing in the manner you have is nice.

Hey Josh, quick tips for knowing if it is Philippines. If you see any amounts with a 'P' in front that is referring to their currency Philippine Peso. Also at 34:27 look for the long limo looking cars which are called jeepney's which are mainly found near the bigger cities.

What you should do is make a spreadsheet of all the metas and list all the countries and regions that they can be found in so that you can identify if it’ll be one or the other, so if the yellow central line appears with the alternating poles you would know if it would be Mexico or a specific region in Brazil

Quick Philippines tip… if you see Tricycles (specifically ones with roofs on the sidecars) then you know it’s the Philippines. It’s the country’s version of a Tuk Tuk. Other notable things include Jeepneys (small Filipino busses that have a bonnet and grill like Jeeps) and a lot of the signage will be in English as well as local languages. Also, they drive on the right side of the road 👍
