Great video. It's inspiring, honestly. My dream is for my husband to work from home. You and Tom seem to be a great example of what a godly marriage could be like. You work together and you really seem to support his efforts. You've inspired me to be a better helpmate :)

I wish I lived in your town! My laptop needs to be looked at and I don't know who to trust with it. Lovely little business you have. And when the kids get older you can teach them all sorts of things about running a business and thats great work experience for them later on.

I just found your channel today and subscribed!!! I love your house and your family!!! I grew up extremely poor living in houses that were on the verge of collapsing. We always said duck tape solves all. haha There were 13 of us kids growing up in houses where we had to stick plywood up for dividers since it was always a studio house. All of us kids were either half, step or or half siblings siblings! So our neighbors affectionately called us dysfunctional Brady bunch XD. We were a tight knit family and always said the more cramped a house is the more love there is! My stepmom always opened the house up to the neighborhood kids that had nowhere to go. She always said well we caught another one. I must be a teen whisperer. We always took them in like it was another sibling!

so cool that your hubby gets to stay home! my husband is currently going to school and he hopes to one day be able to work from home as well. so what made you guys decide to leave your church and do church from home?
@TheMillsFamilyVlog

I actually just finished making a video answering questions about our home church; it'll be up tomorrow. I hope your husband gets to work from home. It's so good to have home be the center of everything for us. Tom doesn't have another "family" or "home" in the form of co-workers/place of employment. It's been a very bonding thing for us to be together and to work together this way.

Oh, I am glad you'll have a video on your home church soon. Looking forward to that. We are church planters in California. It has been an exciting adventure God has been so good to us.

How many customers do you generally have per day walk into the shop? Just wondering as I think this is a very cool idea.
@TheMillsFamilyVlog
@TheMillsFamilyVlog 8 жыл бұрын
I'd say probably 3-6 per day. It's busiest on Wednesdays when Tom stays home because people know for sure he'll be there. He goes out on appointments on the rest of the days.

In an normal retail shops you must have a member of staff on the shop floor at all times to prevent robbery. Are you often victims of theft or do you have a system the prevents this or prerhaps cctv
@TheMillsFamilyVlog

We've never had any sort of theft. That sort of thing is very uncommon in our little town.

hi, I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a video about unassisted birth,specifically what you did AFTER the baby was born. Everybody stops at the birth:) some tips about after birth would be great!
@TheMillsFamilyVlog
@TheMillsFamilyVlog 8 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking about that; what specific things are you wondering about so I can make sure to tell the right parts?
@musicINme013

+Andrea Mills I would mostly just want a kind of "birth story" but starting after the birth. Just what you did, if you did a newborn check and how, things like that. And it would also be interesting to know how you did your own prenatal checks too.

Do you advertise yourselves as a Christian business? Just curious. I think I would want to know before I walked in that I would be listening to the audio Bible during my visit trying to get help to fix my computer.
@TheMillsFamilyVlog

I think that's interesting. I don't mind that I listen to secular music when I go into many stores. Whether or not I would choose to listen to it myself doesn't mean it bothers me to hear it if someone else chooses to listen to it. Nor do I mind that Hobby Lobby often plays Christian music. No one has ever mentioned it because I think, generally speaking, most people are very tolerant of others and their choices. We do have a cross as part of our logo, though.

+Andrea Mills Yes! Thank you Andrea! My children and I are forced to listen to music we definitely don't want to in almost every store we go into and not once did anyone ask us if we minded. We also don't not shop there. We learn to tune it out and do what we came the to do, we just have conversations amongst ourselves or with others. Those who cry intolerance are the biggest at being intolerant.

Interesting. I use public transport in South Africa. In some taxis, I am subjected to Muslim prayers and music. In others, to crass hip hop music with more swear words than I care to remember (even on a Sunday). It has never occurred to me to be offended/complain as I understand that its not my space and as such, I can't dictate what happens within it.

Naamy1989 Wow so very on the spot true, even when you shop at clothing, grocery, phone, etc stores they have music playing even libraries and elevators. You are so right.
