A friend of mine made something like that out of poster board. She saw the idea on pinterest. Such a fantastic thing to keep them focused.

I'm switching my very distractable daughter to ACE this year. I've actually purchased a tri-fold project board (like you use for science fair projects) and we're going to decorate it and hang her star charts and everything right inside. I imagine it will look much like these. :) I love your videos!

That's actually what we used this year- the science fair tri-fold boards. I cut them in half to make two out of each board. The benefit is that they're a little taller (even when cut in half) than the study carrels, but they aren't as sturdy at the fold. We only started using ours at the middle of the year and it feels like they might fall apart soon. Not that it really matters; they're so inexpensive it won't be a big deal to get a new one when the old ones fall apart. I'd love to see pictures of how yours turns out! (You can find me on Facebook.)

We have made American Girl doll 'rooms' on this trifold idea using really big pieces of cardboard we can get at Costco if you ask nicely. They slide behind the sofa when not in use. We've wallpapered them and cut windows with curtains, etc. Then we can arrange our homemade furniture pieces in the 'room' but it all breaks down in a wink. Yay cardboard.

Have you seen the My Froggy Stuff channel? We love all of the fun doll stuff they make. Sometimes we get inspired and spend an afternoon crafting.

No! but I shall look! I am having a particular joy teaching the g'kids to sew (even my grandson) and doll clothes are perfect because it motivates them and they go quick. My grandson has enjoyed crafting furniture for his sisters....it's more 'manly' and he's proud of his creations. Last week we made some paintings and framed them - AG doll-sized! :-)

That sounds fun! Two of my boys really enjoy crafting, too. Judah sewed a bag for his bike that zips closed so it can hold things while he rides. We got the pattern from a book I found on Amazon that was specifically made to teach boys how to sew. www.amazon.com/Buckles-Bobbins-Beginning-Sewing-Book/dp/097149441X/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1476079505&sr=8-3&keywords=boys+sewing+book
