As a professional fire fighter, I can attest that there is nothing more tragic than losing your home to a fire. It can destroy everything. Fortunately, you didn't lose anything more than possessions. I can also tell you that you will experience grief and self blame. However, things will be replaced, new memories will be made and most of all, God will give you strength and peace to continue on. 2 things... 1. Case if the fire was in the wall, there's nothing you could have done to stop it. You are such a responsible young man. 2. Thank God you were all living in the cabin and not the adults in the camper. 3. Yes I thought of another thing 😊. I'm glad it was Case's room only because as fast as it spread, Carter(if he was there) and Adler may not have been able to move fast enough. @@julieking4304 Thank you for that input. I worked for our local city fire department for many years. I handled all of the turnout gear. We washed the turnout gear and hung it to dry. I never noticed a smoke smell after it had been washed.

It can but it may take some special handling. We saved my Grandmother's quilts after her house burned down. It has been 25 years so I don't remember everything Mom did. But she got the smell out of quilts and two furniture pieces. One of those pieces is in my house now. @@julieking4304

Same thing happened to my daughter at midnight 6 months ago. 11 year old, 3 year old and 6 month old all in the house. 11 year old was great in grabbing the 3 yo, dtr grabbed the 6 month old and all escaped in what they had. No lives lost is the miracle for both. Their dog is actually what woke my son in law because he wouldn't stop barking. Blessings are all around us to appreciate. Appreciate what you do have. Chad as a 911 dispatcher for 13 years, this absolutely TERRIFIED me. If you only knew how many people don't get out of house fires because of going back in for something. You are not a cat do not assume you have 9 lives. What ever God has in his plan for you he will lead you to it and then thru it. So grateful that everyone got out safe. THINGS can be replaced, people can't. Some things may be able to be salvaged. Kids are very resilient yes they will have their moments but for the most part they do well. God bless you all.

Back in 2007 my mom was home alone when the house caught fire. My dad was offshore working. When he got home and see the extent of loss, he broke down. His whole adult life he worked so very hard. Everything lost, except my mom and the cat. A puppy they just got died. Thank God for the love and kindness of many people that help my elderly parents get back on their feet. Horrible lost my dad to cancer in 2012, just lost my mom on Sept 6,2023.

I am so sorry to hear about the fire! Thank God you all made it out safely! Over 40 years ago we had a barn fire on our dairy farm. We finished milking and were having breakfast. Our neighbors ran over and told us the barn was on fire. I got the milking cows out while the men were in the old barn getting the young stock out. It was burning and I was praying they would make it out alive. About 5 or 10 minutes after they were out of the barn, the roof caved in. Praise God they were safe and we didn’t lose any cattle! Everyone came to help us and the milking parlor was saved from the fire. The farming community helps each other out when needed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go forward with rebuilding.

I am so very sorry. My heart aches for you all. When you showed Case's room, my heart leapt into my throat. My momma heart thanked God that he protected Case, and that you all got out. My mother and father-in law lost two homes to fire, so I know how hard it can be. The first time was a home my husband and his dad built themselves. Stay strong. We lost everything in a house fire but our family and all pets made it out safely. That’s what really mattered at the end of it all. My husband, myself and our 16 year old son were all alive after a 3 am house fire. My heart goes out to you all. I was in a fire in 1983. Trapped on the 3rd floor with a nine month old and 3 months pregnant. It was so scary. I have the front page article with a picture of me coming down the ladder. I had nightmares for a long time. I still hunt even the slights hint of something hot or burning until I know that we are safe. Just know that is normal and keep remembering to thank the Lord for his protection every day. Having been a firefighter for 13 years and in education and commercial inspections for 25 years, I understand how traumatic this is. Never easy for anyone. Working smoke detectors. Always. Hi guys, I've been watching since not long after the beginning of Adler Farms but have never left a comment. I watch all your family channels and care about you all. I watched this video in tears along with you. I lost my home to a fire in 1995, the day before Thanksgiving. My daughter was home alone and I was working an hour away when I got the call. Made the trip in 30 minutes. My daughter and pets survived, though she was blown across the room by patio doors exploding when she was rescuing one of my dogs. She was 12 at the time. I was so glad to see that you were allowing yourselves to grieve. Sometimes, as Christians, we feel like our faith should stop the grief, especially with no lives lost. Grieve together and alone! It will take a long time to really get past it and work through it. There will be times when you'll get a jolt realizing that the thing you were just thinking about going to get is gone. For a VERY long time the smell of the smoke (which is so different from any other kind of smoke) will cause a gut level reaction. Unfortunately, I've also stood outside my neighbors' homes while they died in fires, 20 years apart, and the impact is still there. I've had to deal with too many fires in my life. Case is such a great kid and I'm glad he gets to see you grieve so he may find it easier to do that with your example. There's so much to process in an even like this. I wanted to hug him when I heard how he was upset with himself for not doing anything to stop the fire. Our kids want so much to protect us from disaster but also from having to deal with tough emotions in the aftermath. I'm sorry this is so long, but I don't know what to cut out.

My heart is heavy for you. My son (13 years old when it happened) and I had a condo fire January of 2021. It was caused by my neighbor. We were lucky. We got out. Everyone in the building made it out safe. It could have been so much worse. It took months to be rebuilt. For everything that went wrong in the fire, I just say BUT GOD. God made the worst situation in my life, a positive event. I hope and pray God turns this event positively for you as well.

Chad, we saw your Channel on last Saturday night! And we are so thankful that everyone made it out of the fire OK! We watch all of your KZbin videos, and we plan to continue! We can't click on the "Like" button because we watch on TV and to our knowledge, there is no "Like" button that shows up. We love you all and Pray for you as well. Please tell Ray Ann, that I personally can relate to what she was saying about her situation that she shared about a week or so before the fire. I have always had trouble being very shy & somewhat unsure of myself. I was bullied by the other guys in school. I am 72 years old & still have bad memories of being made to feel like I didn't count, but God has helped me to get through life thus far! I'm retired now & through Faith in Jesus Christ, I am made more strong to deal with the many problems I encounter from time to time! We enjoy watching you & Carter, and Chad & Adler! I was twelve years old when our house burnt down, my little brother woke me up and was whispering hot, hot to me. I smelled some and went to look, got mom and dad and siblings awake and we all get out. I’m 67 now and still terrified of fires. I remember our big picture windows exploding. Bonfires scare the heck out of me! So glad you all got out safely and animals too. 🇨🇦

On Dec 23, 2022 at 6am I woke up to an orange glow outside my window. It was on our wrap around porch. I had to get my son and my mother up out of the bed and out of the house. I will never forget the horror of realizing my house was on fire with my family inside or how FAST that fire grew! Praise God Everyone was okay at your house and mine! God is Good All the Time! So sorry, what can we do to help you get through this? I am sending my love and prayers, but I’m also hoping that if you need anything at all please let us know. We lost our home to a flood in 97, we actually had to take a boat to get to the house, the water was up over the windows for days. Just take it it one day at a time, bless you all and I’m so thankful that you all are safe and the pets are safe. Shock will eventually go away and you will be good, and your sense of humor is very strong and will get you back to to happy in no time.

I’m so sorry this happened to you all, and so glad nobody got physically hurt. Yes some belongings have emotional value. Thankfully good memories about them stay in your heart. So, so very sorry. Losing your house to fire is very devastating. The important part is that you and the boys are safe. We lost our home in 1992, and I still panic when I hear sirens going in the direction of our house. I will keep you in my prayers 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I've gone through two house fires and it's the scariest thing ever. All that mattered was my children got out safe. Your life is turned upside down but eventually you get back to your life. Many prayers to the family, your extended family cares and loves you all. God has something great that is going to happen for you all.
