I can’t believe you stayed as long as you did in this place! Ugg. It was so creepy and the odd noises and the way the dog was acting! Omg! Definitely an on edge explore....keys still hanging up in the kitchen and not many cobwebs makes it seem like someone's been living there recently 🤨. Darling Bear is such a sweetheart...if someone was there and he had them, well it'd be their own fault. That made up bed gave me the heebie-jeebies !!

A cute cottage stuck in time but There was something ghostly in that house...When you were upstairs, the ghost was downstairs....Bear could see and hear something in those rooms.. There may be several deceased family members in that house with you .. Creepy vibe about the place... Great adventure into the Dark side....

I love that fireplace!! Oh, I love the stained glass windows in that other place that was kind of right outside from that window. An abandoned home like that can be very scary. The Ghost Theory guys did a video of this same house a few months ago, and it was creepy AF. They captured quite a lot of possible paranormal activity, and it was really interesting to compare Matt's experiences with theirs. Very spooky location.

Matt, by the fireplace that spikey bit to jab Bear in the back is a mole trap. The trap is placed over the mole run and set. When the mole runs through the tunnel again, he releases the trigger and it spears him.

I live 2 minutes from here. I can assure you that no one had been here 4 years ago and it's only been accessed around 12-18 months ago. It's been explored by many since, including myself a few times. Great vid tho, really enjoyed watching it

That was a tense one,i think what doesn't comes across in these videos is because the room you're is well lit by your torch,we forget that the rest of the building is in total darkness,so any noise would be terrifying...well for me anyway, I'd have had that poker thing off the back that door and been swinging like a good un😅

A scary video, I was on edge too and I was only watching. You are certainly braver than me Matt, I wouldn’t be game to walk through an abandoned house on my own. I definitely felt like somebody was in the house but was staying out of sight. Bear is a good watchdog and it would be reassuring knowing he is there keeping you safe. Luckily, no one did appear but your fear was understandable and justifiable. It’s just a part of what makes your videos so enjoyable to watch.

We have a system in our household when it comes to shoes. When a new pair are bought they are the "good pair", and the old pair is for everyday or working outside until another new pair is needed, then they just cycle out again.

Kitchens were first to get plumbing,when running water was first brought in to homes,then plumbing,like sewers. Then when bathrooms stoped being outhouses,it was/is easier to tie them into the existing lines. Also it’s cheaper,don’t have to run the pipes as far. Most very old places had to find space for the “bathrooms” and that’s why sometimes they are in very odd spots,but near the original piping.

This is true. A lot of three bed terraces became two bed by bringing the bathroom indoors. Usually the back bedroom above the kitchen became the bathroom.

I know that you did it for the channel and those of us that like the explores and it is appreciated and I'm sure that I say that for the many of us that follow what you do. There WAS something not right in that place and it came across even though I was just watching it from the safety of my tablet !. You could tell by the way Bear behaved that he sensed something too. He was a lot more subdued than he normally is. It was so bad that I felt relieved when you left the place ! This is one where it would have been great if Andy had been there to support you. By the way, I think the car in the photo is an Austin A30. They had a smaller rear window than the A35. Once again THANKS for seeing this one out to the bitter end 👍

That Nokia cell phone that you found was from the 90's! It's very similar to the one I had back then and mine was also a Nokia and cell phones were just starting to become popular with people other than having one just for emergencies if you drove. I'd say approximately mid 1990's (93-95).
