I'm trying to figure out exactly why this podcast just "works," and I'm not sure that I figured it out altogether. But I think it has to do with its charming blend of black excellence, professionalism, sophistication, intelligent and articulate speaking, physical attractiveness, sense of humor, and charisma, in front of a warm and inviting ambiance, that just all congeal together to make for a laid back and entertaining experience. I'm glad this podcast exists! I hope it has a long run!

I must be one of God's favorites. My two pregnancies were marvelous. No morning sickness, no hating anyone, no rollercoaster of emotions. I glowed for 9 months during both pregnancies and the pregnancy sleep was chef's kiss. 13-16 years later I still think about that pregnancy sleep.

That is so true. Back in the early 2000’s. I was able to walk away and work from home to raise my three children. I didn’t go back to working out side the home until my children were 15,13,8. They are now 25,23, and 18 and the bond is unbreakable. Kudos to all of you. Blessings. 🎉

My husband and I have been together for 34 years and he supported me pursuing my dream so for four years, we had a “commuter marriage” where he lived in our home in Maryland and I went back and forth to NYC every week to pursue my dream. Kids were in high school then. Now kids are out the house and I live in NY fulltime and we see each other about 2x a month but we talk all day everyday. It’s like we’re dating again. And it works for us.
