I started playing Taylor guitars a looong time ago…and I appreciated Bob’s and Andy’s insights about perseverance, fulfillment and making choices as it relates not only to guitars but life in general. Thanks for a great interview!

Most mornings I wake up with a Taylor across by belly. I make a point of grabbing mine before I tuck in. I bought it the morning of 9/11.

Fantastic interview. Just had the chance to go visit El Cajon in person, and I was not disappointed!

I’ve never owned a Taylor. The shimmery Taylor sound is beautiful but it’s not for me. However, of the maybe dozen that I have played across price ranges, everyone had great playability and was very well built. I really want to like them more.

I've had many lower end and high end Taylors on my hand like Gsmini, 114ce , 214, 414ce, and now I have an AD17, I must say all play easy, IF they're neck is straight... But they're very sensitive to humidity and on most of them I had to reset the neck. I was just wondering why wouldn't Taylor include a shim set if they know that it will be needed sooner or later? I had to make my own unfortunately because the shims were not available on the other side of the world... So, i would suggest including a shim set. Furch includes a lot of things like a few spare frets, saddle wood shims, some tools...
