Our Journey To Alaska | My Personal Guided Tour | Encouragement In The Way Of the Lord

Thank you for joining us again at The Little Dexter Homestead, where we seek to honor the Lord in all that we do.
We have been in Alaska visiting Trevor's friends and family and taking advantage of an opportunity the Lord put before us. We just want to share a little bit of what we have been doing with all of you and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we have been.
In this video we made a quick trip to a windy Portage Lake, a stop down at the edge of Girdwood, and visit the Alaska Zoo. Afterwards we found ourselves in need of some food and stopped by Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria for some pizza, salad, and locally made root beer.
For this week's message Amélie shares about the two words that came to her mind as she saw the mountains in Alaska, strength and peace. While talking about how the Lord is the embodiment of these two words we also share with you some scenery from our trip.

I would live in Alaska but don't think I could ever convince Danna. We have family that lives in Soldotna and Kanai just south of Anchorage.

Maybe you could come to an agreement and live in southeast Alaska. Milder than the Anchorage area but not so easy to get to though. More than a fair share of ‘Alaskans’ are snowbirds. 😁
