When you start an Indian tour it's best to start with Kerala. Not that much chaotic compared to other places/parts of India. Can understand the culture (each place has a different culture but still you can understand some common things) People are friendly and welcoming. Cleaner than other places.

It wasn’t the chilli. Been travelling India for a long time now and a gut infection is an almost inevitable rite of passage. Ppl often think of the last thing they ate but it can take a week for an infection to gestate. You did the right thing though. If it happens again anywhere in India go to literally any pharmacy and point at your stomach. They’ll know lol. In a huge number of cases it’s a hand-to-mouth transmission-slap that sanitizer on. If you liked that Kadhai flavour you two are gonna *love* the food up North if you go, esp. Delhi & Punjab.
@TheRoamingPickels2 ай бұрын
Ahh OK that makes sense. Yes good chance it was probably that. We did love the Kadai flavour. Thanks for the heads up! 😊

@@TheRoamingPickels No worries, if you go to Mumbai check out Jaffar Bhai’s Delhi(?) Darbar in South Mumbai, Grant Road area. It’s phenomenal. Just a family restaurant in a predominantly Muslim area but jeez the food there is out of his world.

Glad to see that Matt is doing fine. Tropical heat is a bummer but keep hydrated. Another great video as expected! It is amazing to see how well you are able to drive a rickshaw. I have driven in India for a long while but will still not be able to do that with a rickshaw with ease :)

Hello.. Best wishes for your beautiful trip... I think I am addicted to ur videos.. its interesting to see my places through ur lens...😊 One request, Please try to change rusty's silencer... its too noisy... it will not cost too much... it will be hard for your ears in long journeys...

Thankyou for your kind words 😊 haha yes Rusty's silencer was pretty much useless 😅 but we manage long trips by just using ear plugs. If we planned to keep him forever, we would definitely have changed his muffler.

Does driving without honking in India cause accidents? What is your opinion?
@TheRoamingPickels2 ай бұрын
Tough one to answer. We do think horns are a necessary thing to have on your vehicle and need to be used a lot of the time but sometimes we felt there was also a lot of unnecessary honking too. 😊

I think reason why you’ll mostly see single lane roads in Kerala is because their policy to not cut the trees and preserve the nature
@boxer9991002 ай бұрын
Population density is so high in Kerala, so is the land prices, so while constructing the road less land means less compensation for the land owners, we are the only state in the history of India which requested the centre government to reduce the width of the national highway, usually it's the other way around

Sorry, wrong info. Its plain & simple lack of townplanning and traffic planning. The system of public infra is mostly done ad hoc by untrained laymen who become the local ward councillor and panchayat secretaries.
