I love how you fight in front of your kids. When my children were small, my mother-in-law told me I shouldn't do that as it made my kids worry that my husband and I were going to get divorced. I told her that was exactly why I did it. I wanted them to see that marriage wasn't all sweet and lovey-dovey; sometimes you fight and then you have to work through it. Too many people have a fight, and because it breaks the honeymoon mood, they then conclude that the marriage is over and they should divorce. So many people aren't taught that marriage is WORK! Kids need to see that just because you don't always agree, it doesn't mean give up. Two of the most important things for a good marriage is communication (politely!) and compromise (on both sides). We all know the third important thing... 😉 These three things have kept our marriage going for 31 years so far. 😊 💕

My favorite parts in this video: 1. Lola freaking out about Kim and Penn going to make out. 2. Penn Charles laugh 3. Penn Charles farting. 4. Lola and PC getting reminded about their fight about locking the doors 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I love you all so much. You guys are so amazing! ☺ I dont think The Holderness Family will see this but if you do.... I love you guys so muchhhhhhh!!!!! Thx for the likes. It means a lot to me! ☺

This is such a great video! I love the part where you explain to the kids why you don't take the fight into another room. This is something I wish my parents had thought about when my brother and I were kids. For the longest time we grew up thinking that they never fought and even still as adults they won't do it in front of us. My husband and I don't fight too much Granite we are getting ready to celebrate only our third wedding anniversary but thankfully we have some wonderful counselors in our life who have taught us the right way to fight. I think this is an incredibly important lesson for children!

My kiddos are in the same order just slightly younger (girl 8 boy 5) and I could totally see an interview of my husband and I going the same exact way including the fart 🤣 I actually just happened to watch the bra fight video right before this one (absolutely agree on the bra law, once it is off that is it) but I really liked the Cleveland advice your pastor gave you. I had heard something similar before but that was a good reminder. And also once the rubbery chicken is thawed that is pretty much dinner prepared because that hardest part is to remember to actually take the chicken out of the freezer in time! 🤣 I enjoy watching you guys. Thanks!

Have a question/ maybe a comment for Lola and PC, great to see and hear them by the way, do they have any advice for siblings? Our kids are the same age difference 3 years apart, just each a year younger than Lola and PC. I’ve noticed over the past few years with pre-teen setting in that they seem even further apart yet when they were younger they were so close! The pandemic has amplified the issues as we all spend more time together. So just wondering if Lola and PC would have any advice for siblings during this time or in general as they age and pass through different stages of life!
