Very true. While I will say my son is the reason I push thru the hardest things in my life - and I have no clue what I would do if I ever lost him (he's near 12 now) I would absolutely never put my wellbeing on him- in any way. One of the most important things I do different than was done for me as a child- is I do not put information or problems on my kids shoulders that he has no control over. If you do that- all you will succeed in is stressing them out- causing so much worry- and handing them problems they aren't equipped to handle yet.

@Brooklyn Queen It truly is, although her husband was explaining the reason why he did cocaine while Steve was telling him "I know what you're going to tell me". I don't know if you noticed but he- the husband - said "it was because of the allegations of abuse..." 🥴💀🤦😮🤯 If you want to hear it by yourself, go back to Steve opening his test results and you will be shocked!!! Basically, he admitted to abuse their own children so as much as she hates her mother, this one was right about it all. It doesn't matter if it's not the both of them abusing their children, one is more than enough for the DCFS/CYS to remove the children from the arms of the suspected abuser(s) which was no one else but this pathetic junkie abusing his children. Maybe he was also freaking out about the allegations of molestation pending over his head...

Exactly, you put it perfectly!!! She even went back to have a polygraph test about it and all her results were the same: she had no idea it was happening. Mind you, her childish daughter chuckled at her results and even went to the extent of saying she was very surprised her mother passed - with flying colors nonetheless - because, I quote her own words and she is both blind and stupid as it gets " Yeah I'm surprised because I told her stuff!!! That my sister told me!!!" 🥴🤦👌 It was almost the end of the show and she still didn't get that her sister was the one who lied about everything, everyone, was the one who called DYS on her Mom to have the children put in the system instead of staying safe, protected, cared for and loved in a safe and stable environment. Even made more accusations against her sister which were false to the opposite of their own mother who called DCFS to have these precious little children removed from the "care of their parents who were beyond neglectful, were doing drugs in front of them and fighting with each other in front of these poor little young children as well. Pathetic parenting at its finest...SMH Steve himself said it while talking both to his wife, the audience as well as the family on stage "The sister was the one making the CALLS but it wasn't hard to find this one out." So, who knows, if she's capable to make so many lies against her own Mom and her own sister, maybe she's never been molested. Especially with a Mom so alert, vigilant and paying close attention to everything and everyone. I might be wrong, again, this is only what I suspect due to the aftermath of the whole situation targeting everyone on stage.

I think if the children are still that age, they edit it out for safety. If it's an incident that took place when they were younger (and they're no longer that age), the age is left in. Locked in their room for hours? What the hell?My stepdad locked me in my room for months I was forced to stand in the corner for an entire day I was put in a choke hold and had my larynx crush and was so malnourished I was 13 and 89lbs. He was a meth addict and was very violent and nobody took me away.

Shit ,I didn't exactly experience what you have and thank goodness you got out of your situation but my siblings and I were taken while younger (I 5,little brother 3,and little sister 1)then we were placed back at "home"two yrs later 1989-1991 going on 92 .My "m"was a teenager with 3 kids so when she got us back I thought it wouldn't be so bad. Everything was ok at first but it started within 3 or four weeks of us being back home the beatings, not having food to eat at times, seeing domestic violence between her and her at the time boyfriend, smdh it was alot to take in at 8 yrs old and beyond and no one spoke up.The school only intervened because I wasn't going to school and they threatened to remove us from the house. They only involve themselves when they want to be nosey.

The world is full of sick people. I was abused horribly for about 6 yrs by my step dad- every type of abuse that exists I lived with daily. When I finally ran to my grandparents at 12... when it came out- judge was all this is the worst case of abuse I've EVER seen... in 25 yrs on the bench. I was terrified so I didn't get the words out on the stand - but they had tins of evidence- so he got a whopping 10 yrs- in Iowa that means 5... 1 day for every day served. Yeah. I'm 35 and just got out of an abusive marriage that lasted 11 yrs. That shit when it happens young- it screws up something I think in your brain. That's what the psychiatrist and therapist say... I feel for every child put through abuse. And I don't have the words to say how much I feel for you- going thru what you did. I truly empathise.
