Do they ever sing to the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary was blessed and highly favored of God but she is not to be worshipped. God picked her out to conceive God’s only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Mary was a sinner who had to receive her own Son as her Saviour. After Jesus’ birth to prove she needed a Savior also she brought the typical sacrifice of two turtle doves for her uncleaness to the temple. If Mary had been immaculately conceived she would never have needed to give that sacrifice. The scriptural truth is that she was a normal virgin lady with an old Adamic nature just like us whose womb was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost and that which was conceived in her was fathered by the Holy Ghost. Jesus’ father was God thus making Him God the Son, God manifest in the flesh. Read 1Timothy 3:16. Mary was still a sinner after Jesus’ birth that is the reason she says in John 2 “whatsoever he saith unto you do.” God’s salvation is obtained only by repentance of our sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for our sins, His burial, and glorious bodily resurrection three days later.
