NOVENA PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GOOD HEALTH VAILANKANNI 11 DEC (A novena - a prayer prayed every day for nine days - may be made at any time of the year.) O Most Holy Virgin! You were chosen by the Most Adorable Trinity from all eternity to be the most pure Mother of Jesus. O tender Mother of the afflicted! grant me under my present necessities a special protection. Relying on the infinite mercies of Your Divine Son, and penetrated with confidence in your powerful prayers, I most humbly entreat you to intercede for me. I beg you to obtain for me the favours which I petition for in this Novena, if it be Holy Will of God to grant them; and if not, ask for me whatever graces I stand most in need of (here specify your requests) O Mother of God, accept my salutations in union with the respect and veneration with which the Angel Gabriel first hailed you “full of grace”. (Recite the following Hail Mary - 9 times) Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death - Amen. I beseech you, O Comfortress of the Afflicted to obtain for me the favours and graces which I have now implored through your powerful intercession. Let your faith depend on the “Word of God” and on the “Life of the Word made Flesh” Please read the Word of God and ask God Holy Spirit to give understanding so that you may know the “Mystery of the Woman and the “mystery of her Seed”. Let your Faith be authentic so that you may also triumph the Devil. You are certainly under the bondage of sin/Devil, if your Faith is defective. 1. Genesis 3:15. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Virgin Mary is the NEW WOMAN and her SEED, the NEW ADAM. The new woman is the only one among mortals to be the bitter enemy of the Devil and so is SINLESS/IMMACUALTE. This FULL Grace (Luke 1:28) is given to her by her GOD. Because the NEW WOMAN is sinless, she merits ascension after death. 2. Isaiah 7 :10-14. 10Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz, 11“Ask a sign of the Lord your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.” 12But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, and I will not put the Lord to the test.” 13And he said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. The “Good News” of the mystery of the young Woman (Ever Virgin) is foretold by God Holy Spirit through all prophets. All who listen to God Holy Spirit will be led to ALL the Truth about Lord Jesus Christ(John 16:13) 3. John 19:25-26 --- The Omnipotent Word by which God created everything, by the same omnipotent Word, God re-creates his Mother, as the Mother of the ALL the Redeemed on the altar of sacrifice on the cross. God liberates us from being children of disobedient virgin Eve to be children of the obedient Virgin Mary. 4. John 19: 27 Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. St. John was not afraid to take Lord’s Mother to his home were all the other Apostles were gathered and the Woman becomes a Mother to all of them. The fearful “beginning of the Church” (Body of Christ) starts in bosom of Lord’s Mother, as infant Jesus; 5. John 2:1-10. Woman's intercession leads to the Glory of God. The Time for the “revelation of Christ” was made known to his mother Mary by Almighty Father. Her intercession is “OMNIPOTENT”, because she is blessed to BELIEVE ALL that was told to her (Luke 1:45). … The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects.( James 5: 16) 6. Acts 1:14 --- Mother called all the scattered and frightened Apostles of her son together and encouraged them to pray for the coming of God Holy Spirit. As always, She says “do whatever HE (Lord Jesus) says” (John 2:5) 7. Luke 1:35 --- when God Holy Spirit comes upon believers they will become the children of Virgin Mary and the children of God the Father, similar to the coming of God Holy Spirit and the power of Father God on Virgin Mary made Lord Jesus Christ the “son of the Virgin Woman” and “Son of God”. We become the “body of Christ”, that is son of Virgin Mary. 8. Luke 1: 41 -42 And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! Mary is the “blessed among all woman” born on this earth. She is “blessed Mother among all mothers”, Mary is the Mother of all mothers, that is Mary takes the place of Mother Eve (Genesis 3:20 The man called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.) 9. Luke 1: 48 Mary said…..for he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden. For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; The whole human generation will call her blessed, because she bore the Creator, who bore the World! She nourished the Creator, who nourishes the World! 10. Luke 2:35 and a sword will pierce through your own soul also, that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed. The “sorrow of Lord’s Mother” caused by the death of her son for “sin offering” for the whole human family, is very omnipotent and lets heart to intercede for the whole human family for their salvation. 11. Revelations 12:1, 13, 17; 1And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; 2 she was with child and she cried out in her pangs of birth, in anguish for delivery.13: And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had borne the male child. 17Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. --- Mary is the “terror of the Devil” and “protective Mother of all”, those redeemed by the blood of her only son, Lord Jesus Christ. She is the “Conquest of the Devil” because she is “The ONLY enemy of the Devil”, among mortals, by the power of cross of her son. 12. Psalm 45:9 --- Mother of Lord Jesus Christ is on the right hand of her son. The Mother of the God, the Redeemer of the World deserves reward for all belief till the cross offering her only son as a pleasing sacrifice for the sins of the World. Patriarch Abraham’s offering of his son Isaac was pleasing to God, how much more of this Woman’s sacrifice! 13. Song of Solomon 6:10.“Who is this that looks forth like the dawn, fair as the moon, bright as the sun, terrible as an army with banners?” ---- Virgin Mary is the “brightness of the Dawn” and her son is the Sun. She is a ONE WOMAN army with banners - She is the “Conqueror” of Satan amongst Mortals (cf Genesis 3:15) 14. Psalms 50:2. "Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God Shines forth" God Jesus Christ shined forth from the womb of Virgin Mary, perfected with “ALL GRACES” by God Holy Spirit. Virgin Mary is the Zion. All, 152 times Zion is mentioned in Bible refers to the Virgin Mary, in divine mystery! 15. Psalm 116:16 and Psalm 86:16. Lord Jesus Christ prays to Father God as the "Servant of his Handmaid" to obtain favors for himself, that is for HIS Resurrection and life to the world. 16. Psalm 131: 2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a child quieted at its mother's breast; like a child that is quieted is my soul. The Lord came from the Bosom of the Father (John 1:18) to the Bosom of the Virgin Mary and is comforted by her love. 17. Luke 1:28. Arch Angel Gabriel came to Virgin Mary and said, “Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” No human has received so great a greeting from an Arch Angel in the history of Humanity and no human except the Woman Mary, has received ALL the divine GRACES (Fruits, Gifts, Charisms, Virtues..) from God Holy Spirit. No human has ever had God so intimately joined to them like that of the Virgin Mary. 18. Galatians 4:4-6. But when the time had fully come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” We need Father, Son, Holy Spirit and the Woman for redemption. Our Salvation has been finished by the heavenly “Trinity” with the help of the earthly “Woman” according to St. Paul. 19. John 6: 54. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life. This Living Bread and Life giving Blood was “made in the Virgin Womb of Mary” and NOT in heaven. 20. John 19:25. But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother. Virgin Mary triumphed along with her son in the ultimate battle against the Devil, to undo the defeat of the Virgin Eve. 21. John 12: 49For I have not spoken on my own authority; the Father who sent me has himself given me commandment what to say and what to speak. All the Omnipotent WORDS spoken by Lord Jesus Christ are the Omnipotent WORDS of Father GOD and GOD Holy Spirit. As for the brothers and sisters of Lord Jesus Christ, there is NO MENTION that they were born of Virgin Mary. Do not worldly wisdom teach that - Individuals are identified by either of their parents and NOT by their siblings! Virgin Mary, Mother of Lord Jesus Christ is the “Woman of Genesis” and the “Woman of Revelation”. Virgin Mary is the “Woman of the New Convent” and Woman of the “people of New Convent”(body of Christ/Church). On one is given FULL grace to touch, see, feel and know God as the Virgin Mary. Whatever she did to her son she did it to God. Virgin witnessed the first breath of the Savior, her son and the last breath of her son God, on the cross with profound humility, love and obedience. She nourished the one, who nourishes the whole world. Every ordinary act, any mother that does to their children are praise worthy , BUT with Mary it became an “act of worship” pleasing to God, because these ordinary act was done to God son Jesus. And if you ask the God Holy Spirit, HE will lead to all the Truth (John 16:12) about the “mystery of the Woman” and the “mystery of her seed” necessary for the salvation of the human family of Adam and Eve. (1 Corinthians 15: 45 “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.) DO NOT BE AFRAID TO LOVE THE LORD’S MOTHER, FOR WE CAN NEVER LOVE HER MORE AND BEYOND THAT OF HER SON JESUS CHRIST!
