Heading down next week, porthcawl is my happy place, haven’t been in 6 years due to everything going on in the world and our lives, have decided to go to Beales as that’s my mams favourite, I avoided Mansels for many many years as in the 90s my dad had “ the worst beans and chips he has ever eaten” I’m sure it’s been many different owners since then but that review stuck in my head 😂, glad I found this channel it’s brought back memory’s and I can’t wait to see more porthcawl videos, thank you 😊

Fish and Chips with watties Tomato Sauce and vinegar sometimes is our way of having our Fish and Chips in plain white paper (newsprint) and wrapped in newspaper sometimes and make a hole in the top if you having them as an individual, otherwise with others one opens up the wrapped up Fish and Chips to share with others on a table on the grass if out...the Kiwi way...thanks for sharing

First time I came down to Porthcawl I had no idea what fruity and Irish curry sauce was, we went with fruity but I think Irish is more like the traditional curry sauce up in the midlands

First time I’ve seen this video,sad to hear it’s the last one,I’ve enjoyed them all.I don’t think there’s much to choose between the permanent ones,I know which is your favourite and it reminds me so much of Porthcawl because of where it’s situated.We’ve used Beatles quite a few times because if the weather is rough it’s easier being seated etc.No matter which fish and chips you were eating you always made me feel hungry and they always looked appetising.Thanks once again.Looking forward to next series.

Hello from the States. Just watched all of chips videos. Nothing like enjoying some fish ‘n’ chips while taking in the seaside views. If you ever make it to the States and you find yourself in Ocean City, Maryland (there is an Ocean City, New Jersey), try some Thrasher Boardwalk fries (chips). Best chips ever. No need for sauce. Stay well and be healthy.
