I live on the border so I go to buy my groceries in Mexico. Let me give you a tip on the tortillas. As soon as you come home with the tortillas you need to spread them on the countertop or table with a cloth underneath and let them air dry for maybe 10 min and then stack them up and place them in a plastic bag and put them in the refrigerator maybe by the end of the day. This will prevent them from making them moldy and last a little longer. The food looks delicious. Your kids are si blessed to have good, fresh, delicious food! I use a hand blender or a potato masher. Such a blessing to be able to have your children in school in Mexico they’re experiencing such a healthy and safe environment ❤

I was born in Tijuana and at the age of 5 I went to live w my grandparents in Michoacán. I had a great childhood. I came to Los Angeles, CA at the age of 15 yrs old and learning a new language and learning a whole new culture and being bully by my own people was hard because I was born in Mexico and didn’t speak English. I made sure to sacrifice and send my kids to public schools in good neighborhoods because I didn’t want them to experience what I did.

A lot of your life in Mexico reminds me of what it was like growing up in Hawai’i. It’s not the same in Hawai’i anymore, too many Americans flooded our shores and pushed our people out, stealing the essence of our islands. @@IEXOTICBEAUTY Yeah I know, it’s insane. Are you Hawaiian? I think it should be illegal to push aboriginal peoples out of their homelands. I think only Hawaiians should be able to own land in Hawai’i fee simple, everyone else should have to only buy leasehold. It’s everyone moving here that’s raising the cost of living. No one cares about the impact they have on native Hawaiians, all they care about is living in Hawai’i… which barely even resembles the Hawai’i I grew up in anymore.
