Truly a loss of an incredible person, let alone an incredible artist. In all the years working in music in Canada I strangely have never worked with Mr. Lightfoot. I was lucky to meet him a couple of times in passing through different events where he wasn't performing, but was there, and I was lucky to have talked with him both times as he seemed to be a very quiet person, a person who didn't waste words, but said a lot with the words he shared. A very peaceful and deep thinking man. He gave us all an incredible amount of his love of music and most definitely his life's work will live on now that he's gone. When someone like Mr. Lightfoot passes, it really makes a lot of people realize how short our time here is. Thank You Mr. Lightfoot for all the music and love of life and love of Canada, you share with us in your music. Rest In Peace

It's interesting that Gordon said, "I don't do ID's." George Harrison of the Beatles did even a promo for Yellow Submarine on Boss Radio KHJ! John Lennon was a DJ for 3 hours at KHJ-Los Angeles. I wondered why he wouldn't give his voice for an ID.

He's an artist who difn't believe in commercializing everything. Earlier, he had said he didn't care about the money, only correct attribution. I think he would say about the ID, "I'm not interested in profiting off sponsorship, but I am not going give away that value to you."

Yeah I made it through most of it but wow. Some of the questions weren't the best but wow that was a odd interview. He seemed willing to talk but not about anything they talked about. That was a tough one.

@@TheEWFX29 Gord was always a private person but I believe is because he rarely did interviews in general, there is one from '82 where he was jumpy and just uncomfortable. Probably effects of quitting drinking.

He didn't want to own the key to some ghostly mansion where souls are set free.. A lot of souls go to those mansions when they die but Gord I think went past go to the river of light.

It almost seemed like the interviewer was purposely trying to irritate Gordon.
