In the USA, we stayed at the Len Foote Hike Inn in Georgia. You hike 5 miles from a waterfall to the Inn and stay in a beautiful sustainable lodge, dine family-style and enjoy all the nature. Relaxing! One day we did a hike from the lodge to Springer Mountain the start of the Appalachian trail. amazing! Also stayed at similar huts in Northern Maine.

We have places like this all across the US. Just up the road from where I live our local metropark hired the tree house masters to come build several tree houses. They are surrounded by nature, lots of different trails and even swimming ponds, and the metropark just opened a brewery in the park too. Great place to visit.

There are quite a few treehouse places here in the States. I have always wanted to stay in one but never had the chance. Through you two, I am lamenting that I feel sad that I never did that throughout my adult years and now I am alone and old and it will not happen. As a child, I was raised in one of the coal mining towns of Pennsylvania and always wanted a tree house, but never had one. I spent my childhood in the woods on the mountain behind our home and my friends and I would gather things from wherever and try to make a treehouse. Of course, there was a lot of imagination involved. The closest I came to it was staying in a tent as an adult with my young son because I was not going to deprive him of those sweet memories.

It truly is a magical place! We visited a few years back and stayed in the teepee, which I really recommend for those who think that 500 quid is a bit much for glamping (although the treehouse seems to be worth every penny) and for those who'd enjoy an outdoor shower in the middle of the forest! It was a memorable experience, so much so that I recognised it instantly by the 2-seconds snippet of Emma walking down the path in the previous video... Glad you got to relax after the recent bad experience, looking forward to follow your next adventures!

Last year I stayed in an Airbnb that was a boat moored on Lake Michigan. It was a wonderful experience. The place I stayed had 4 or 5 cabin cruisers to rent, as a solo bikepacker I chose the smallest and cheapest. It was still the highlight stay of my ten day trip around the state. Gonna try and repeat the experience this year.

That place is magical ! The birds were probably "mobbing" the owl. Small birds will gang up on larger birds that are hunting especially if there are babies around. They go after the bigger bird to drive it away and it is a loud affair !

When the sounds of life, our life, fall silent, & then Nature takes over, it really does lend you it`s wonderful sense of Mother Nature inviting you to become part of it. The fact, you never really see anyone, and you can be in a World of total Calm & Relaxation, only Mother Nature can provide. Along with the so well thought out planning, to make that place deliver, your utmost feeling of serenity and Peace. To be able to relax in such a beautiful way, to bathe outdoors, feeling the fresh air, the smells of Natural life all around you, and of course the Journey would not be complete, without the sidestep into EL Bottle of Plonko, `Welcome back Travel Beans`, to what you do best, and boy you do it so well, this was The Calling, you needed. I love tree houses. I was not crazy about the outside look if your treehouse but I soon got over that part. Inside looked wonderful. Open. Thanks for explaining why the tree house was built like it was. The best part though was the outside. Oh my. The location was perfect. Closed in and private. That bath tub: What a wonderful piece of heaven. Having the pizza oven was really cool since we could eat pizza and not get tired of it. Being able to have groceries for you when you got there sounded perfect. Less work. Having an honor system is something we don't see much of in the US. You probably know why. Wine.....Yes Loved everything about this video. Especially the natural way you relax and let us feel like I am there spending it with you. Emma's morning's sound like my hubby's. I am so glad you found the perfect place to really relax after the fire and craziness of your past few months. Love and hugs
