Since the springs are "torque vectoring" and are a "banana" shape, do the springs go in directional? So for example, the bend of the spring facing the opposite side of the car?

What is the clearance now for the front splitter? Is it not more vulnerable to high kerbs or speed humps?
@CarEnhancementsUK2 жыл бұрын
Our premises is surrounded by killer speed bumps and we have yet to scrap any - clearance is very good still

I hope you guys will install a full set of sway bars to compliment this. However, I cannot find any manufacturers at all which is weird. If you do, and if my car ever arrives, I will definitely be copying yours. 👍

Looks very nice! But I think I would go with KW V3 or ST coilovers.
@CarEnhancementsUK2 жыл бұрын
We did run KW V3 for a stint on our previous MK8 - but we are aiming to go with the more often bought items on this car to be able to give true and genuine advice based on experience

@@CarEnhancementsUK And are the coilovers much of a difference?
@flyingbear_fpv92912 жыл бұрын
@@Verknechter Well, if you decide for another spring system, you'll probably mess with the mechanical torque vectoring (which is the limited slip differential that they mimic mechanically with their torque vectoring system)... Not sure how the car would handle this... I do know that there are some tunes (mountune m235 and m260) that can disable it, apperantly some prefer it dissabled.

Shame you didn't show how you removed the windscreen cowling panel.
