Just a quick tip that my mom taught me, some cornstarch is great for diaper rash, literally from one diaper change to another it was better. Once I tried that I never went back and I swear we didn't even get rashes as often

I loved the huckleberry app! It helped me so much with knowing when to put her down for a nap. Before the app, I wasn’t putting her down often enough because I thought she would show more signs and it turns out she wouldn’t nap because she was over tired. Who knew?! So the app changed our lives and she’s been the best napper and sleeper.

My daughter is 5 and the hatch sound machine is still one of the best purchases! I can use it as a gentle alarm To wake her up for school and she gets a kick out of picking a different sound and color for nighttime. And it’s loud enough to drown out fireworks on holidays. So good.

I used the love to dream zip up swaddle for all three of my babies and I have to say those are the best! Since the Velcro is way harder to use and is loud.

Currently pregnant with baby nunber 2 and will definitely be trying out some of your suggestions :) I also used the doona carseat/stroller and we loved it so much. Especially with the doctor visits, it was just so convenient. I use the colugo compact stroller for walks with our baby and i highly recommend! Its super lightweight, easy to use, and isnt super bulky or heavy. The best part is that you can buy the infant bassinet insert separately and then use the stroller seat as they grow. Our baby is almost 2 absolutely loves that stroller!! Just bought another one for baby number 2 ❤

I swear I’ve been watching you forever and feel like I’ve grown up with you! I remember before you got married and how you mentioned you weren’t sure if kids were for you (I remember your best friend had kids) - I always felt very similar. When you got married, I was going through my engagement and now that I’ve been married for a year and a half - I finally feel like I’m ready for kids! I just wanted to say I love how much you’ve grown up as a person and seeing you as a mom makes me feel like I can do it too. Huckleberry was my lifesaver when my son was younger (he’s almost 2 now) cause there was no way I could remember times for anything lol. I did the diaper tracking on it at first too but I realized after a long time I didn’t care about that cause I did them as needed so time tracking didn’t matter, although nice to know how many changes at first since the pediatrician would ask.

My granddaughter just had a baby boy three weeks ago. She lives in another state. And I haven’t made it there yet to meet him. But I can always buy and send things to him. I’m not sure she needs much. She had a huge baby shower, and got a lot of stuff. He’s already spoiled because whenever she sends a picture of him, she’s holding him. I was on the phone with her earlier and he was fussing. She said he had gas. She’s breastfeeding him. And pumps so his dad can feed him too. She’s a short, small person and he was a big baby. His dad is tall. I know she doesn’t have a monitor. They also have a big dog and two cats. So she won’t lay him anywhere. We bought her his crib as a shower gift. But I’m not sure when he will sleep in it either.

Funny how I could NOT figure out swaddle me swaddles (or any type of swaddles with Velcro), but can perfectly wrap my baby into a burrito with a muslin swaddle😆😆😆 Also, my son too LOVES to be on a changing pad. I have the SkipHop one, but it’s the same material as the peanut one. I don’t know what it is either 😁
