Our "Must Haves" in an upgraded RV... is it possible to get everything you want in one coach?

We had a free Sunday afternoon, so we went to the last day of the Tampa Bay RV show. We learned more about each other in our "We Must Have" and "Definitely a Deal Breaker " categories. We are two different people married to each other, and we have different tastes in RVs. But of course, we're not really looking!!??!!

I got all that in my house. I’d live in this if I could and get rid of my house. my house is way too big. Cute couple. I just paid 7000 for a 1989 Toyota dolphin RV two weeks ago. the engine and the interior were rebuilt in 2005-06. I feel lucky to get that. It’s got a good size bathroom in it though. I’d like to live in one of those big ones. I do have to admit I like looking at these. I want to have a solar system put in my purchase. I want it to be self-contained. I do have three different solar devices.

Something to think about... If you oftentimes boondock in nature areas you may want to rethink an outdoor kitchen. Sadly, no matter how well you clean the kitchen the smells will draw wildlife, critters, and bugs to your RV. 😮😢. We own two RVs and a Conversion Van and have 50 years of camping experience behind us so this is a topic we understand. Our Motorcoach is a Newmar, no outdoor kitchen for those reasons. Same with our Pull-Behind Airstream and Conversion Van. Several friends have outdoor kitchens and depending on how they are constructed with the fittings it can be quite difficult and expensive to repair or replace any items when the time comes for that. I hope this info helps in some way for your future purchaseing considerations. BTW, I'm not only talking about Desperate Camping. Boondocks in No Hookup campgrounds and even parking lot stays have nightly critters or wildlife visitors so it is a genuinely valuable topic to consider 🤔. Happy Rving Adventures to you and yours. Hey, guys. I recently found your channel and am now a subscriber. I’ve been researching RVs for a year and a half trying to increase my odds of choosing an RV that I’m still happy with after 3 years. Yep, I’m going to rent 2 different units already booked this Spring. But I digress… If you are wanting a 5th wheel I’d say look hard at a Brinkley. Most manufacturers are using floor plans very similar to each other. The decor, fit and finish, and “extras” varies. I’ve read and read and searched and searched for unit reviews, factory tours, and owner reports. Brinkley came out firmly on top followed by Alliance. The service of these 2 companies is the best in the 5th wheel arena right now. I’m sure you’re already doing this but if not go to owners groups to see if they are happy with their unit. You’ve got a uTube channel and I’m sure you’re all over this. I am now but at first I fell in love with a unit based mostly on appearance, price, and features only to find that my first choice had terrible owner reviews. Oh well, at least I hadn’t bought it yet! Enjoy your life and thanks for sharing a bit of it.
