😂 Hilarious. I feel something in the back of my adult mind would have been telling me not to get a dog but I couldn’t quite recall why. I get the dog and at first poop I would have been like dammit! Sonny somehow works out the biggest poops for me since I’m his favorite 😒🤭

Great video! Glad y'all got to enjoy Spring Break in spite of the incident. Most importantly, glad everyone is ok. I did a week and a half kayak and MTB trip in the Tampa area during Spring Break and Ioved it! I got a little taste of the 'Snowbird' life and took the auto train down to avoid the long drive from up north. We paddled around a couple keys, went through mangrove tunnels and paddled down rivers with gators, manatees and fresh springs swimming holes. It's truly a beautiful and diverse area - I see why the area is so popular. I hope the RV situation works in your favor perhaps for a new RV. BTW, as a northerner, I was raised on grits😂🙌 Wishing y'all all the best with a new RV.

That sounds like an absolutely fantastic trip. I can’t wait to get my ISUP wet again and would love it if it could be in locations as you have describe. I want to paddle some spring down in FL and would definitely like to paddle some mangroves. It sounds like your folks raised you right. We hate we have to travel it as well. The wreck happened in Alabaster which is north of where you’re referring. We were closer to Birmingham than Clanton sadly when it happened.

Hang in there! I wish we had been able to RV when my kids were young. I never thought to do it because I grew up in FL and it was more a way of life than a vacation!😂 (Lake Wales HS grad here btw) Now it’s how my husband and I escape the crazy of working too much. I don’t know what we’d do without it! We seem to have a bit in common, I’ve also lived in Birmingham! I’m cheering you guys on.

Jay and the officer both were cutting up a good bit. We knew we had nothing to worry about outside of possibly a speeding fine so it was all good. We really don’t know what Sonny is. He’s a rescue we’ve had since he was 3 months old. We didn’t except his ears to stand up so when that happened, it confused us even more. We have our days when we’re not even sure he’s a dog with his attitude. J/K🤭

I really enjoyed watching your video. I’m glad Jay didn’t get a ticket. I live in Florida and the state troopers be on it. Your parents have a really nice Rv. It was nice of them to let you all use it. It was nice to be able to finish enjoying spring break. I might just be me, but every time the word total came up during your inspection it looked Jay had a smile on his face. I think he got the new Rv on his mind. The wife and I plan on going Rv camping one day. It’s on our bucket list. I’m from up north and I love my grits, eggs, bacon, or sausage.

Yes not getting a ticket was a blessing and so were my parents. I encourage my folks to use their RV more all the time since they are both retired. We are hopeful things will work out for the best with the RV. Hope y’all enjoy RVing as much as we do when you get to experience it. Just remember it’s not all about the destination, it’s the journey along the way you have to remember to appreciate too. Delicious breakfast menu. 👍🏾

What time of day do you start your travel?

It depends on where we’re headed. As you will see in some of our other videos, if it’s within 2 hrs, we may leave on a Friday after work around 5 and be camping by 7 but for longer trips, we usually start on a Saturday morning and make a stop after driving for about no more than 6 hrs when we are towing the trailer. It just really depends. Thanks for watching!
