Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 1,700 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper) on the farm. With a lot of help from Daddy Cornstar, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for both young adults and adults. Despite being 22-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.

Cole please, for the sake of what people think of you and for your subscribers, please stop click baiting. It’s wrong, and have you ever heard the boy who cried wolf? One day a family member might fall through a roof and need your subscribers help to pay for treatment. No one would watch the video as they would think they were being clickbaited.

@@johnnnny I don't think that's what Gregg was implying. Some people, new viewers in particular, may not appreciate getting sucked in by the clickbait and switch technique. Those new viewers may not give the CornStars a chance to redeem themselves. I think was Gregg was just trying to offer constructive advice.

The point that a lot of us are trying to make is simple: Stop using clickbait or regular viewership is going to drop. For a while anyway, new viewers will still make up for the losses, so you may not even notice it, but eventually, there comes a tipping point. Here's hoping you don't reach it. Far easier to get higher video views with regular viewers long term, than trying to get the one-off viewer that clickbait brings and then loses.

Two things that impress me a lot with this channel are: (1) Farmers work their butts off every single day. My goodness, I rarely had to go non stop like that, at least not for very long. (2) Every day brings new challenges. No same-old same-old on a farm! Oh, and by the way, I never knew a bushel was a weight measurement! It always confused me how they knew that basket contained a bushel!

Not to make you feel bad DC but I can't help but giggle at the nail scratch on your forehead. Husbands, gotta love them. My husband had an axe bounce back at his forehead once when chopping wood. Luckily blunt side (and hard headed) hit him but man did that ring his bell. This is why wifes have to color our hair!

Great job as always!! just a suggestion.. if you do tin roofs in the future, figure out how many sheets you need & stack them even.. then measure your cross ties, mark your marks from your cross ties on the tin & th4en install the panels.. makes life easier.. again just a suggestion. Keep up the great work!!

i have a friend who used to put up agricultural buildings he fell through a skylight 30 ft landed on his back he broke his neck back and pelvis luckily survived with great specialist medical care took him a long time to be able to walk again and even to this day is in pain and that was 6 years ago very lucky lad... i find these type vids not funny you all should be wearing safety helmets and harnesses and underneath should be safety netted in case of someone falling through... The time it takes to put all these items on/up is far less than it takes someone to recover always far better safe than sorry.

My second eldest brother died after falling from a one story house roof ! Anything more than about 2 metres above the ground really does put you at great risk of harm or even death (as we found out the hard way ..) I really wish everyone would use safety gear .....I hate seeing Cole up on top of the grain silos with no safety gear, that’s instant death if he fell .....or life in a wheelchair 😕
