We moved about three years ago and it was all a bit manic as it was over the Christmas period so getting removers, carpet layers etc was a nightmare, anyway we moved in and put things anywhere, after three years we have finally got sorted. So you really are doing it the very best way.

A little hack I learned from a contractor is to cover those silver screw heads use black nail polish to paint them over. I tried it and it works. Sherpa is such a cutie as always!

Know what you both would love??? A canopy over the patio so you and Sherpa can sit out under the cover and still enjoy the weather. Even a giant umbrella secured to a post would work - don’t leave it open all the time. I love my covered and screened porch and enjoy sitting outside in all kinds of weather.

When a plant's roots come through the bottom of the pot it's time for a bigger pot because it's root bound and has no more room. When you take it out of the current pot you will probably see more roots than dirt.

Love the look of the new shelving unit! You can use a black Sharpie marker on those screws to hide the color. I think you have those type of markers in the UK. If not that brand then any oil based marker should do the trick. I’ve used markers to camouflage a lot of unwanted hardware. Poor Sherpa looked so sad he couldn’t go out in the garden. He needs to borrow bat dog’s cape. I’m sure seeing him sleeping so soundly in the garden every night reaffirms you bought the perfect house! Cheers from FL😺
