You guys look like it is Christmas morning and unpacking your gifts. You can feel the joy through my screen. It makes you smile when watching. Honestly, new baby adventures or not, you both have a briljant eye on how to make watching your videos even more interesting for the future. Your viewers will be engaged for a long time to come. Well done. Looking forward to some island exploring. Greetz from Nieck and Karen (by the way, Nieck wanted already a Mog, now he wants to have a boat to accompany it as well -something with boys and toys 😂)

That's a great little boat. we have a Grand Inflatable canoe, that looks very similar and it works great. We used to have a 5hp outboard for it, but found we hardly ever used it. We would not be keen on taking it on the sea, but some people do. Enjoy your new boat.

Great choice guys - we've got this exact TrueKit Discovery boat in the 3.3m version and it's awesome. We'll definitely be using it for our lap. Check out any of the Stand up paddle board electric pumps. I picked one up which can be programmed up to 20psi and also deflates too - way better than working up a sweat when you want to hit the water quickly 😉

You can buy the adaptors off eBay for sup boards that connects to a compressor. I use one with my thumper dual compressor and it will pump a sup up in about 2 mins

Hey Chris, the fastest way to Inflate, is to use the 18v blower, open valves and then seal off. Then finish off with hand pump. Can be done very quickly.

That's a sweet addition to your collection of tools. Looking forward to vids of Chris catching dinner while Ang relaxes above him in the new boat. Answer to the FLYING Jeep question i asked you last vid is it went 266 feet into the air. Yes we did this under controlled conditions and even us pro's were surprised how high it went (most thought 20-50 feet was as high as it would get). I was the closest to how high it went at 250 feet for my guess ( i was looked at funny for my guess before it went off LOL). There is 6645 PSI of inert force per square inch for every inch of ring diameter (this is the main reason i advocate for extreme caution when doing split rims). I hope my info has been helpful to you as well as entertaining on this subject. Now go enjoy your new toy so we can get vids of it next week please 😁 (too excited for you to enjoy it so you must be even more so). Thanks in advance as i know it will be a good one.

You beat me to it! About to screen my setup of the 400 discovery too. I use a Makita blower vac to pump mine, and you will be able to use your Makita battery gear. Only takes a minute or two to blow up also. They about $140 at bunnings. The vac bit helps suck it flat for pack down too.

Congratulations on the new boat. Can’t wait to see its maiden voyage ⚓️ Chris that an excellent presentation, it was like you had assembled the boat one hundred times before👍. You should consider sending the video clip of the assembly portion to the manufacturer showing how simple it is to put it together with all its features and equipment… Maybe the manufacturer would be inclined to gift a canopy for the boat, worth a try 🤔 Regards from Miami, FLA 🇺🇸 LP

Hey Team Taliban Tan - We used a corded 12v Colman air pump. But now days you could invest in one Milwaukee M12 battery and use Milwaukee cordless air pump! Then buy a rattle gun for wheel nuts ect and use the same battery.

Make sure your get a high flow pump seems like you are not needing high pressures. I had a stand up paddle board pump and it would pump initially in hi flow then switch to pressure mode. Probably the best option for you. Or possibly an air bed pump and do the last bit to set the pressure with the Manuel pump. With that pvc boat I highly suggest getting it out of the sun especially in the tropics.
@ianjemmett7983
@ianjemmett7983 Жыл бұрын
Chris I use a small Mikita blower to inflate 90% of the way inflatable stand up paddle boards that use the same fitting as your new Catamaran. This would also enable you to blow down the Mog down when it is covered in Aussie bull dust etc. I note you have a Mikita saw so you would only need to acquire a skin only small blower. It has a small diameter rubber cone nozzle that is the perfect diameter to fit inside the inflation valve. added advantage is the shutoff valve doesn’t leak when you stop inflating as it acts as a one way valve and automatically wakes as you stop blowing. You can also consider purchasing a Ute crane that is a crane that drops into a tube bolted to the inside of a Ute. They are used to lift engines and the like into the back of utes. You could mount a tube the the back of the cab perhaps passenger side behind the hatch. The crane would then pick up the boat and swing it around to land on the rack in the position you have chosen. When not in use the crane can just be pulled out and stowed in the garage alongside the motor or alternately into a lower tube behind the cab. The Crane works with a cable and wind up handle similar to a manual winch. I am a kiwi but touring Tasmania at the moment otherwise I would send you a picture of both so you can have an idea of what they look like. Back in the land of the Kiwi in a week let me know if you need to see pictures. Ian J.

Do not want to spoil your joy, but you will get sick of inflating and deflating the boat. The beach wheels arms look very short, most likely you will be dragging it on the sand. And with outboard install will be a considerable difference on moving it around. I have a similar one, even shorter 3.4m and 52kg, 20HP, 4 stroke outboard. The whole thing gets very heavy to shift it around. Enjoy 😁
