Actually I said night, but just remembered the tornado warning expired at 6:45 a.m. I have gotten so used to them, and have been through a few of them, I usually just go in about my business. But something felt different on this one. Thank God it went up! I started to watch the premiere on the Livestream but my dog needed out, then I couldn't find my cat. She used to be an outside cat when she lived with my Dad. I live on a busy street so now she has to stay in. Turned out she was inside. She was sleeping somewhere. This house is not that big and the cat is not that small, but she will fit in places like you wouldn't believe! Did you all have any storm's?

You put then in the washer . When it gets done, take a hat, flip it over and slide it on the bottom of a saucepan as a drying rack. My mom used to dry my dad's hats like that.

If it were me, I would get a pond liner & then use rocks to go all around the sides to hole it in place. Medium to big size rocks preferably.

Well, I am glad to know that y'all didn't get any of the more severe windy weather that went through that region. Watch that you don't get one of those thorns/stickers under your nails. That would really be sore. I can picture it sometime a thousand years from now when archeologists are digging on your land and they wonder why they keep finding tape measures everywhere, especially the ones that say "KYLE" and others that say "NOT KYLE". 📏🤣🤣🤣

Hi there Kyle and Shannon. What fun Bruno was having. I thought exactly the same was he going to swim. You will be glad you have a Bruno though. Need to watch the reel of Daniel Arms there dog Kelce running in the puddles too. She went totally mad. They are about the same age too. Difference in breed one going 100 mph and one about 50 mph. You could dig out the pond and put some Benonite (spell) in it and it will hold water. They may have it at Tractor Supply. And I'm sure it will have instructions on how to use.

I got about 16" of rain over 2 days of that storm here in southern Missouri. There was some road damage, and a rancher down the mountain had the creek overflowing so bad it washed a lot of debris into a large section of his fence and laid it flat. In town when I went to vote yesterday some commercial buildings were damaged too. But today is a great day for America and God is good! We did need the rain and a proper election day! Texas Deb ❤️

Now you know the best place to build a pond. Bruno approved! You would need to dig it out some and build up the sides then line it with clay to seal it. You may want to put an overflow pipe under the driveway.

Hi Kyle and Shannon. Wow you really got a lot of water from the storm. The goats really are excited about the 2nd hay feeder. You definitely have plenty of hay for them both. Spruce was so funny telling the other goats that the new one was his. Herc was so cute watching them decide which feeder they wanted to eat from. The long hot summer baked the ground as urface do the water ran off the surface a bit before on te it started to soak in. At least you know where the wash areas are. Worth doing the road asap to make use of the base rock is loosened a bit. lol TRACTOR TIME. And Bruno-what sheer joy!

Howdy from St Louis Missouri. We had 7 to 9 in of rain in St Louis. Some of the schools even had to closed because of flooding on the city streets. At 3:00 in the morning my son was wet vacuum the basement. It was not a restful night. The highway 60° today, we had to open up the basement windows and put a fan in just to dry things out.
