I ❤all you bates and in laws! I thought of a way for you all to continue doing KZbin if you choose to! Just change your settings to where NO comments can be made!! But if you feel God wants you to take a break or quit then definitely please follow that prompting!! I have picked up several key things from you guys and Michael's parents and siblings! One thing I noticed is how much yall say you are thankful and grateful for this and that.. That's something I don't do as much as I need to!!! there are lots of other things. The way you guys pay attention to the children and make them feel valued. The Bible studies you have talked about growing up. How Lawson said Gil has a good temperament and hardly ever got too mad. How Much you guys look so sweetly at each other while talking❤ I could go on and on! So, thank you for your kind examples amd inspiration!

It’s sad that those who leave negative or hateful comments are ruining it for all of us who love these family’s vlogs. It’s such a sad world out here, when children are needlessly attacked with hateful criticism.. I do not blame the parents or Aunts and Uncles who want to protect the children. Alyssa's kids were never attacked, no one ever said anything about them. It was Alyssa that was criticized. She needs a thicker skin. Nothing was even said bad enough to make her drop her channel.

@kathyturner4797 You have to pay better attention then...or you were a spoiled child yourself and just wouldn't notice those things...but she definitely does favor other ones and so does John. She is a great mom so that's why it's surprising. Don't get me wrong, she is my favorite Bates. It's not a criticism, just an observance. But there has been comments toward her for years and some are pretty out there.

We as Christians who know the value of spreading joy, peace and positivity must stop allowing negativity to keep us from doing what we are called to do. I completely understand the Webster's decision and I am saddened that they had to bring their channel to an end. Watching all of the Bates each week brings me joy and happiness. My job can be stressful. Life in general. But each Bates episode reminds me that there are good things happening and I need to stay faithful and thankful when the news reports mostly tragedy and crimes against humanity. I can really appreciate how much time KZbin takes even though I don't do KZbin myself. I've watched enough of what I call Private KZbin channels to know that what they go through can be tough, because they tell us. I'm thankful that you will stay in touch. It's been my experience over the years of watching a variety of family channels that, at some point in time, changes have to be made because children grow up, family life changes and sometimes it just becomes too much to do KZbin every week. A couple of channels I watch have come to the point where they only do a full video when they have something extra special happening. Otherwise, they just do the 'shorts'. I was very sad to learn that John and Alyssa are not going to do KZbin anymore. But I was not totally surprised because she had hinted at that in the past. They have to do what is best for them. The only thing that bothered me was that all of the comments on all of the videos had been closed so I could not even say goodbye to them and tell them I understand. I just want them to know that I love them and will pray for them as they come to mind. Thank you for sharing all of the Bates family with us. You don't realize how beneficial it is, especially to people who live alone and those of us who are going through life changes of our own. God is using ALL of you to encourage and strengthen so many people. This is a ministry, not just entertainment. Blessings on your new year as you continue to serve Him. Anna from Indiana

I'm thankful that you are just slowing down the videos and not stopping all together. With not being able to have kids, I have related so much to your journey Michaela. I watched your family from the first time I saw you all on the Duggar's show. I'm so thankful for your example of loving on your nieces and nephews. My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary and when we got married, kids were definitely in my plan, one way or another. I knew I may not be able to have my own as I was born with a rare progressive lung disease that can also affect fertility, but my hubby was adopted, so we figured that we would adopt if we couldn't have our own. God has continued to say, "no for now" and He brought me through a long journey of being able to say, "I can be content, even if God never blesses us with children." We moved from AZ to AL in 2020 and one of the hardest things was leaving my nephews and niece behind (family and "adopted" from church family kiddos that call me Aunt) and not having kids with me that knew me brought a new stage to the grief of infertility that I believe will always be there until God takes me home. I also ended up having to have a hysterectomy in 2022 and found out through that surgery that I had been living with stage 4 endometriosis for years, which explained a lot of pain I dealt with but my lungs always required so much care my pain always got put on the back burner so to speak. When you shared your full story awhile back, I cried with you, and I'm even tearing up now...thankfully I've got new "nieces and nephews" from church family here in AL, it just took some time to build those relationships. This video was precious to me as you continue to love on your nieces and nephews and I look forward to your future videos! Thank you for allowing us the privilege of peeking into your life--my lung disease is progressive and so I don't have a lot of energy most days and breathing treatments that take a lot of time each day so I'm thankful for good content that spurs me on to keep following Christ. Though I may never meet you here on earth, I look forward to worshipping our Savior with you in heaven where sorrow and sighing will forever flee! :)
