Stella's Story is so unknown, but we are so blessed to be a part of this chapter of her life. Dr. Cochran, our vet, comes on her time off to help our sweet rescue and points us in the direction of next steps.

I can't get over how BGrace is so attuned to the animals now. She was really intensely focused on what the Doc was saying, and watching every move. Just amazing experience for her, and watching it made me so proud of the young lady she is becoming. Jake is doing it well yes! She wasn't scared either of Stella's condition, and most kids her age would have been very scared. Not BGrace, she was going right up there and loving on Stella, just another example of how this world still has hope in it. Seeing how Stella reacted to not only Dr. Cochran handling her during examination and the needle pokes was wonderful. However, the fact that she only looked at the kitten and Brinleigh was able to not only pet her but give her kisses without reaction is amazing. Brinleigh's heart is so big and loving just as so many on Morrow Hill. Can't wait to see what she chooses to be when she grows up. Thank you all for your love and care of this sweet baby.

That sweet, sweet face -- those poor ears & her tail. Those ribs, her poor skin . . The hope in her eyes -- can't believe I have started crying again 😢. Thanks Lester for not seeing what terrible condition she was in & deciding to drive right by. Even tho I know she is well & living her best life -I cry instantly when I see her before pix AND every time I think how horrible her life was before you 2 rescued her. My heart, Brynleigh is a Morrow through and through, with her love for animals! It brings tears to my eyes seeing her love and compassion for Stella and all the kitties her and Lou Lou rescued! She's so full of love for Stella, and she's so interested to learn from the vet everything that is wrong with Stella health, and what they can do to make her better again! Some kids would be scared of Stella because of her ears, but B Grace has no problem giving her a kiss right on her head, and petting her and loving on her! 💞

I would guess rickets due to malnutrition, commonly results in bowed legs. Also, Jami stated at end that “ everything” ( meaning her bowed legs) was due to malnutrition.

Stella's poor ears look almost as if someone tried to pierce them and they got infected. All of you guys are saints for helping her! She will have a lengthy recovery, but I know you guys will do whatever you can to help give her a better quality of life!

Jami, I cried seeing how much Stella has been dealing with over her 6yrs of life. When we rescued our Misty we could literary see & count each of her bones. She was so thin she barely weighted 6 pounds that was 12yrs ago & she weights 20 pounds & is a happy fat mix terrier. Can't wait to see Stella get healthy over time. Stella did so good with the Vet.
