I'll miss Wild West forever. It was one of the best fields, and the closest to me. I was gonna build my channel off of going to it, but seeing it gone, puts a hole in my heart and in my channel. I hope someone is able to build a new outdoor field in return from WW shutting down. 💔

Yea =/ When I saw all the work that went into that turf all I could think about was the zoning troubles they were going to run into… It’s just not possible to have a field that close to residential apartments.

Lil andrew at the end, making his bunker, doing a smooth double knee slide and popping up and ripping was dope. Thank you for all your videos man, they are such a great representation of not just the paintball community at WW but the paintball community, as a whole, in AZ. You genuinely could not find better people to play with and WW very much fostered that enjoyment of the game and your videos always captured that camaraderie. This isn't the end, just the next step that needs to be taken.

That's what happened to my local field, they were on leased land and the land owner sold the land and the new owners put up a factory on the land. The local field is still trying to find a new location, even though it's been about 5 years now since it happened. It sucks, but it seems to be the best way for a field to operate is to be able to own the land they're on. Good luck on finding a new home.

This is so crazy. I was so close to going to ASU, because this exact field was so close to the poly technic campus. I ended up committing to a private university in Pittsburgh. Sad to hear your field is closing down :(

Hate to hear it, This has been the reality of paintball around the Atlanta area for a couple decades now. Almost all of the older fields are gone, and tournament paintball fields are only in the exurbs a couple hours out of town. I had a bad feeling when seeing the apartments going up in the background, its never a good sign.
