Dumbest fuckin advice I've ever heard. I'm on track to be a millionaire before 30 because I partnered 50/50 on a construction company with my friends dad. I'm 26, gonna make ~$350k this year. Reading between the lines: we could not afford to hire talent at market rate, so we offered them an equity position. They were sick of doing all the work, while you and your 34 cronies profited from their under market wages. When they confronted you asking more more equity or money, you blew them off with a low ball offer. They called your bluff, and started their own place. They didn't steal your clients...your clients left because they recognized who was doing the work and they are paying for talent, not your history. Tell me I'm wrong...

If they won’t let you buy them out, and they are actively stealing clients for a competitor, that’s called corporate or industrial espionage. They know your business, therefore they know the weak points and how to market against you. It’s a felony.

@BloodyIron That went right over your head... Do you honestly think an OWNER of a company gets paid by the emotional desires of the other owners? This is contractual stuff, emotions don't belong in business. That's how you can tell who actually owns a company and who thinks they know how business works.
@BloodyIron
@BloodyIron Ай бұрын
@@smudge1619 No, it didn't go over my head. Your ability to comprehend soft skills seems not at the level of realising it was a paraphrased statement. Not everyone uses the "most precise words" every time they're trying to convey an idea. Hence me saying addressing the CONCERNS. If you don't understand how soft skills come into contractual negotiations and conflict resolution... well.. you have plenty to learn ;) But yeah, I wasn't the original person you're flapping your gums about here, I'm interpreting what they said. If you really want to get upset over this ant hill problem, go wag your gums at them. Or, you know, move onto things that actually are worth your time and effort. Not fixating on verbiage instead of intent.
