Great episode. It really has been a "pinch me" week. It's beyond surreal when I think back to the Steve Bruce era in the Championship to where we are now. I was too young to appreciate coming close to UTD in the first "Prem" season and only really started understanding & going to games during the Mcgrath-Yorke-Dion Dublin eras. This is the most I've ever enjoyed being a Villa fan. It completely eclipses the time under O'Neil, as good as that was. Villa in the Champions League genuinely looked like something I'd never see in my lifetime just 6 years ago. Even back in the prem under Smith & the Gerrard horror show, UCL/top 4 still seemed like a pipe-dream whenever I thought logically about how hard it is to break the top 4 with the PSR restrictions & NUFC adding to the teams we have to finish above. Pride is the keyword you mentioned in this poscast. We've been through so much heartache.. I'm so grateful to Unai & these players for giving us this experience. Long may it last! Finger's crossed Citeh get found guilty & relegated to non-league 🙏😂 We can dream of winning the league if that happens. UTV!! RIP Gary Shaw 🕊💜
