I used to read your Blogspot blog about your homestead and its additions religiously. Was working on my garden beds this afternoon and randomly your name popped in my head .. and it lead me here. Hope you’re still out there and living the life you want! Thanks for all the shared knowledge and the view into a life some of us haven’t been able to live yet!

Hey, thanks for popping in and saying hello! Yep, I'm still here. I don't have the chickens anymore but still have something of a garden, fruit trees and blackberries. My blogged has moved a time or two, now at beardystarstuff.net though it's not so much about the garden these days. I've turned to writing more about climate change and politics. You may or may not enjoy it! Glad to hear you've got a garden, thanks again for the visit! -Denny

I really enjoyed the video! I followed your permaculture blog up until you switched to star gazing. Not because I don't grok the awe of the cosmos but because I went without internet for about 2 years. It was your blog and email advice that helped me take my techniques to the next level. Thank you.

The lake is beautiful. While it doesn't seem well manicured, it feels warm and cozy. Thanks for posting. You're doing well.

Terry, it's not been much of a problem for me. I get the occasional black snake and, very rarely, a copperhead. The closest copperhead I've seen was probably 120 feet from the cabin and only once.

You get my contest lucky shout out will be recommending your channel to Deep South Homestead warning Danny not a fan of permaculture so this'll be extra fun. Permaculture for his farm just doesn't work but anyway hello from Deep South Homestead.

Very cool. To bad all people can't enjoy the solitude of living such a peaceful life.
