Your midwife was full of wisdom. She is much smarter than the OB/GYN's I had for my babies. Not having a C-section was a blessing from God. Congratulations! Welcome to the world Teagann.

Loved hearing your story! What a tremendous blessing all around! Never had a breach baby but several parts of your story reminded me of my third baby-first one at home and very fast delivery but for a while my placenta also didn't deliver and we called the ambulance to transfer me, and then called friends to ask them to pray and literally in less than 5 min. the placenta came and we were able to tell the medics that we didn't need them anymore. God is so good! So happy for you and your family.

This was a miracle birth. I am so proud of your positive attitude and energy it took for you to deliver your baby girl at home. Your husband was such a great coach and hands on, to be so supportive of what you were going through. Your little girl is so lucky to have y’all as her parents ♥️♥️♥️

Molly, you are absolutely radiating beauty and glowing more than ever in and out and God’s grace is covering you!!! motherhood looks amazing on you. so proud of you and happy for you! I still remember your story I think it was about daffodils or tulips out in the yard and dreaming of having babies… The Lord fulfilled this for you!!! Keep drawing on His beautiful grace! 🩷🩷🩷 PS-love that quote..wrote it down…”Whenever we try to remove the pain from life we also numb out the glory.” Amen!!!! I’m just coming through overcoming Lyme disease and this resonates with me so much, hallelujah! 🎉

Aw this is so kind thank you 🥹 I really do feel deeply transformed in every way because of this experience. And yess I'm so honored you remembered that story, the 3 daffodils sprouting up in the spring as His promise of our baby coming that year 🌼🌼🌼 😭 Nothing sweeter than when we get to live out His promises in our lives! Praying that is true for you in your Lyme 🙏💕

Mollie!!! I just watched your birth blog last night and was in awe and was so excited to see you post today. As a doula, I am soooo happy to hear you talking about the power of the empowerment! THIS is why I am such a huge advocate for mamas having the birth experience without the interventions. The way God has designed for us. The confidence that comes from going through birth and feeling that power, is what is meant to give us the ability to be connected mamas. Strong and loving, powerful. This is the birth of a mother. You did everything to get this. The importance of the balance of giving in to your body but maintaining your power can't be stressed enough. God is truly a master designer. Everything that happens in pregnancy is an accepted miracle. But few understand the miracle of what happens between the mother and baby during the birth. The incredible dance of physiology. Ugh I could go on and on. I'm so proud of the warrior you are for your baby, for God and for yourself!! 💓💓🙏🙏

Labor and delivery is always a gamble no matter where you are. You and your midwife did a great job. I so so so so agree not to have the baby be admitted as well. Thank you for telling your story. I was worried about you when you didn’t post a video after delivery. So glad everything worked out ok. Praise the Lord. ❤️

My midwife told me that as long as you don’t touch or get checked after your water breaks you can go longer than 24 hours. She has had several moms do this. She would go off my moans and just come and go and let my husband and I be together to work through it. So if anyone reads this don’t fear the 24 he thing. That’s for hospitals and those that choose to get checked within the labor process and that possibility of bacteria entering. We chose not to. Love this story of your birth and you look amazing and so happy! I am in wise county and so curious who your midwife is. Mine is in Waco but there is an amazing one local to me that moms rave about so I was just curious.

Yes! My midwife agrees as well with longer time parameters with monitoring in a head down baby situation but for breech delivery has tighter parameters. It's all about knowing each birth's risks and needs! 💛

Watching videos is no match for 8 years of education that an OB/GYN has. There is a reason why physicians deliver breech babies by c-section. The midwife could not have known for sure that your daughter would be born safely. I know you feel that she is magical and that she had a feeling that the birth would be successful, but that isn't something that can be scientifically measured. The science says that breech births carry such high risks for mother and baby that a c-section is the safest option. I understand your feeling that the spirit is leading you to have a first time breech footling birth at home, and I believe in God too. However the risk is so high and you are so lucky that your midwife got the baby out. Next time, you might not be so lucky and that is why I am taking the time to write this to you. Please don't do this again if you have another breech baby, I beg you. It is so dangerous. Would you be at peace if your baby was stillborn? That is a legitimate question. Would you believe that it was God's will for your child to be stillborn if that happened? I hope to hear a response on this from you, if you have time.

I honestly don’t think you made wisest decision and the risks of it are apparent by the end of the birth; placenta is included as part of birth. I’m glad you seem so positive over this but you could have died. Your daughter is safe that’s great but both of you could have died. I really hope gods warning stops you from risking both life’s again .
@koileequillerfeit

Okay, there are lots of things wrong with this. Its HER birth, not yours. She probably knew most of the risks, as she said at the beginning of the video. She also said that they tried lots of things to flip the baby. Obviously that wasn't the outcome, but her hope was still a home birth. She also said in this video you have to have a posistitve out come. She also said that she has no regrets, and she got exactly what she asked for. If you would have paid attention to what she said, than you would find that she knew what she was getting herself into. Did she die? Did her baby die? You would not tell someone who had a hostpital birth that didnt go as planned "You could have died!" Or "Dont you wish you were at home?" This was her coice, and i respect that. Have some compassion.
@SunQueen800
@SunQueen800 6 күн бұрын
@@koileequillerfeit you must consider the life of the baby and not just the desire for the mother to have her dream birth. She may have hoped for a home birth, but that isn't always the safest option for the health of mother and baby. Back before we had the medical technology and knowledge that we do today, so many women and children died during childbirth. The reason the maternal and fetal deaths have dropped so much is because of the wisom and knowledge that OB/GYNS have after studying for 8 years, learning everything possible about the women's reproductive system, including birth. The compassionate choice would have been to give your child the gift of the safest birth possible, DESPITE her own wishes for an ideal, specific birth.
