It feels weird to “like” this video, but of course it’s just to show support. I am so sorry to hear of your pain and loss. I haven’t suffered your particular type of loss, but I lost my husband suddenly last September. We had so many plans. All I can say is it takes time to heal. Don’t make hasty life decisions. Take time for yourselves.

Love and hugs to you both.❤️. I went thru a miscarriage at 35. I was “high risk” because of my age. The hardest thing is the fact no one knows what to say. The silence was hard. It’s good you’re talking about it. Thank you for sharing your journey.

I don’t know if this is encouraging, but I had a miscarriage at 35 and after a few months of trying I was pregnant with our first daughter. Then the same thing happened to me at 37, a miscarriage and another daughter. Both of them were healthy, so even at a later age there is hope!

I’m sorry to hear about your loss and ordeal that you are both going through. We love watching you and can feel the good in your both. So let me share our story. My wife and I, (then fiancée), got married a little earlier then we had planed to properly bring our child into this world. So we moved all of our wedding plans up, and had to shrink our dream wedding, lost a large deposit on a dream venue. Then we lost our pregnancy after 5 months, and we we’re devastated!. Then God covered our wounds and blessed us with 4 healthy children! Now we are expecting grandkids #4 & 5! All I can tell you both is hang in there. You definitely not alone. And good things happen to good people! God bless you both!

Having gone through multiple miscarriages ourselves, we understand everything that you both might have gone through. What helped us during those times is to focus on our own well-being, let time heal the scars and watching your travel experiences around the world. We eventually had our beautiful son born in March. Just don't lose hope and I wish you both all the best.

I am so very sorry for your losses Katelyn and Howard. The strength of the love that you have for each other will see you through the tears and heartbreak. You will heal, but it does take time and you will never forget the loss of what could have been. My Daughter turns 36 this Summer, but I had 3 miscarriages before her and then another miscarriage two years after her birth. I can vividly remember my OB telling me that if the pregnancy didn't proceed naturally, it just wasn’t meant to be. It didn’t make it hurt any less. Keeping you both in my prayers, and wherever you may travel, be safe and stay well.

Hello... I wanted to tell you that my prayers haven't stopped for both of you. I found out 2 weeks ago that my son and his wife are expecting now. She's 34 and doing all of the "high risk" things. They reside in the province of the Philippines. The free clinics are hot and miserable. They've decided private doctor and hospital is the way to go. I hope and pray healing and comfort is your daily blessing now. 🙏❤️

Heart broken, but remembering my life from 1996-2000. My late first wife and I experienced 4 pregnancy losses (miscarriage, full term still birth, and 2 more miscarriages) before our son was born. Both of you continue to take care, watch for the milestones to come and stir up more emotions! When the time comes for you..I can only imagine they have learned even more than what we experienced to help sustain a pregnancy. (She took specific hormones for the entire first trimester…not for the faint of heart)

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. It’s never easy but I am witness of my sister’s journey. She spent 5 years trying and had two miscarriages due to her blood type and this year we welcomed the miracle. She never went through any fertility treatment just one day had her prayer answered. Baby is super healthy and if you never lose hope and continuously seek God, he will provide the path.

Thank you for your openness on this very painful experience! I have two children, of five pregnancies. The attachment and love we immediately feel once we see that positive test is tremendous. Then the grief and the questions, as you mentioned, are difficult. It's unfortunate that it is a common occurrence. I am so thankful every day for my son's, now adults. Praying for your journey to parenthood. Do not lose hope. Parenthood will come in due time, in the way it's meant to be.

Hearing you speak of the sickness..my first son, I was mildly nauseous the entire pregnancy, only violently so when I smelled raw meat. Then my third miscarriage a couple years later followed immediately by my last pregnancy, y youngest son. His brother was two. I was so incredibly tired from the second he was conceived. And so violently sick.at 9 weeks I was hospitalized because of dehydration. Thankfully, as soon as I started the second trimester though, I felt an incredible! I'm praying for you both. So sorry for your loss. You are right that no one talks about this. I had four miscarriages and there wasn’t the support I needed. The internet was fairly new and I had no idea how to seek out others that had been through similar things. The waiting is the hardest! I wish you all the best. Keep up your positive attitude but make sure to grieve. No one understands unless they have been through it. Those babies were and always will be part of your heart.

Some of us (men) think its no big deal...easy, right? Get pregnant, have a few minor issues and then out comes the baby. Not so for 25%, according to the information you showed. Wow! I just watched your video about your miscarriages and I just wanted to say how sorry I am. 3 years ago my daughter and son-in-law decided it was time to have a baby and went through numerous miscarriages and a year of REI care before they were able to conceive and carry their little one to full term. She is now two years old and the apple of our eyes. I have been a labor and delivery nurse for over 40 years and I cannot blithely say that everything will be okay. Sometimes it's not. What I can say is the doctors and the medicines have progressed to a point that there's a lot of Hope. Please remember that the two of you are more important than anyone else. You need to cry when you need to, laugh when you can and continue on in whichever way you feel is best for you. I look forward to seeing you in future videos but mostly I just hope that the two of you can proceed to a place of peace and happiness in your lives.

Know that you both have guardian angels to guide your destiny regarding travels and family. These special helpers don't need names and don't have religion themselves, but they are highly familiar with your journey of life and tirelessly work to guide you through prior agreements before your birth to fulfill your contract of this life. Most of their guidance is subliminal, so when times get tough, pause, feel, reflect, and listen often. Travel well, my friends, you are Loved.

I can't know everything a woman goes through with this, but from a mans side you want to help, make it all better, make everything right in the world and you can't. Howard all you can do is to be there for Kaitlin, listen when she wants to talk, and give hugs lots of hugs in the end the med.s held, talking helps but love is what gets you through it all!

You two are amazing. ❤. I just discovered your channel when planning a trip to Nova Scotia. I’m so sorry for all that you’ve been through, and I want to share a slightly different experience. Back when I was in my mid 30s I experienced a “spontaneous” miscarriage like yours, then a while later I also experienced what they called a “blighted” pregnancy like yours. After allowing my body to heal, I once again became pregnant and this time I made it to just over five months. Sadly and devastatingly, my body rejected this one as well, and after much soul searching I decided I couldn’t emotionally handle trying again, even if it could work physically. At this point I was 36 years old. I’m now 69 years old and I want to let you know that if you end up not being able to have a family, the world does not end. We have had an amazing life together so far, and now that we’re both retired we and Roadie, our one year old Golden Retriever, are just going to be getting into the RV life this spring. Your adventures are a huge inspiration for us. So please stay positive and know in your hearts that whatever happens, it was meant to be. Sending big hugs!

Sometimes it seems like you can't handle one more thing, but you find a way. Like you, we had incredible support from friends and family. These experiences don't go away, but they become part of your story and you learn to coexist with something you never wanted. I wish all the best for you as you heal.

I saw this video come up right when we had our 3rd miscarriage and only watched it just now, this is so close to our own experience. I actually haven't seen anyone go through it this closely, it's like looking in a mirror, thanks for the moment of shared humanity.

Irene and I will be praying for you two. Our one suggestion to you is get copies of everything brfore you leave. Irene was a radiation Oncologist M.D. for 43 years before we retired. We have been to physicians and/or Emergency Rooms in probably 10 states in the last 11 years. We NEVER leave until we have copies of results from ALL the tests, scans and exams we had done. We have one file for leer for each of us with nothing but printouts and CDs of scans that we take with us on the road. If you are already doing that, that’s great. If not, you should consider it. Thanks for being so courageous to share this with those that need it. Katelyn a geriatric !!? That’s a hoot. WhileI do know what you mean, it was still funny to hear (sorry). You 2 are the only ones that will determine how this effects your relationship - use your wills to assure it doesn’t. Just flat make up your minds to refuse to allow it. God bless you both.

So sorry guys. Each one is hard. My wife had four of them, but she also gave birth to 4 wonderful boys. But there are moments of mourning still, even 30+ years later. It will be a part of your story forever. But enjoy whatever you are given, whether it's eventually children or other experiences. Try not to ruminate too long on the losses. It will crush you. I love that you guys are positive and thankful and supportive of each other. And you bless so many others along the way. Maybe get back to travelling for awhile again? Rooting for you!!!

Thank you so much for sharing. Never met or talked to you and really just started watching you a few weeks ago as we’re going to southern Italy in a couple of months and you both are super easy to watch and listen to. I hope and pray that God blesses you with babies in His good time. I agree that it’s very cathartic to talk and share these types of things. Our son, when he was 17, was 40 mins without his own pulse and my wife was the first responder. He’s great now and has 3 kids and getting his doctorate this week but in the moment it was really hard. I started writing and 750 posts later…And lastly, these hard times make us who we are and make us “better” people in many ways. Sorry for your loss and there are brighter days ahead for you. Blessings.

I'm watching and crying. When I was a young wife I had 4 miscarriages. It was devastating and I was deeply grieving for a very long time. Our marriage has survived almost 35yrs now. We did end up adopting 3 children and also had a successful pregnancy. What you are going through is life changing, but we have ended up creating a very happy family and you will too. One day you look back and remember these times, but they won't cause the ache that you feel now. Sending you both so much love from someone who knows 💕

I'm so sorry to hear that this is the medical issue you all have been dealing with. I kept checking back every week for your videos because I miss them so much, but I hope you take all the time you need. I know how you feel as I myself had 3 miscarriages, then had to take meds to abort a 4th due to it being eptopic. I feel lucky that they were all within the 1st 8 weeks and did not require surgery. The worst was the 3rd one where a heartbeat was detected earlier than they can usually hear it, the doctor telling us that he was 99% sure everything would be ok, then to start bleeding a few days later. I'm happy whenever people want to talk about this topic as I had no idea until my first one how many women do have miscarriages. I had tons of women I knew telling me their stories and even men tell me about their wives. So thank you for being so open with all of us strangers. I do so hope things get better and that you get the happy ending you desire. Sending you lots of thoughts of love!

I experienced many miscarriages before I started taking prednisone for Lupus and we discovered a fibroid exactly where an IUD would be placed, so that was removed. I went through years of emotional pain. Every time I felt pregnant a week before my period was even due, so it seemed like every month was a miscarriage. Anyway, the prednisone made all the difference. I ended up having 2 biological children with issues at birth both times that put mine and the babies life in danger. But the are both in their mid 20's and living their lives healthy and happy. But for about 3 years of hell. The thing that got me was the reaction of the other nurses I worked with, many asked, "What did you do?" As if I had some how caused the miscarriages. Yeah, the guilt was heaped on me, and as you know, miscarriages are common and happen just because something is wrong and I didn't do anything to cause the miscarriages. I empathize with your loss and how hard it is for you to experiences the challenges in treatments to get medical help. Stay strong, talk with professionals, grieve. If you stay depressed, get treatment for postpartum depression. I suffered postpartum depression after my 2nd miscarriage and I needed to be put on an antidepressant and went through therapy with a miscarriage specialist. So take care of your mental health. I'm here if you need someone that doesn't know you, that went through it and you need to talk to.

I am so incredibly sorry you are going through this. I know the pain of miscarriage too well. I have 2 beautiful kids who are grown adults now but I will never forget my little one that I lost. She was just a ball of cells but I knew in my heart that she was a girl. I celebrate her on her due date every year. She would have been 16 on 9/11/21. I know she is watching over us and we will see her some day. I really missed you guys and I’m so glad everything is ok. Howard thank you so so much for helping our friends get their instagram back during this time. You have no idea how much that meant to them. Thank you so much. God bless you and I’ll be praying for both of you!

So glad that you two are sharing all that needs to be with each other. ❤️

My aunt 32 years ago had 2 miscarriages, then ended up having 3 of my cousins. Not twins, separately over 6 years. So what you are going thru is common. My wife and I tried for years and couldn’t due to Endometriosis. So I am glad to see your doing well. I know your sad but it will work out. The people across the street they too had one, they are trying. So don’t stop trying. That’s the best part! Great video!
