The Artec stuff is actually super nice. They're getting fairly big in the drift community now being Drift HQ sells them. I've only seen positive things so far with everyone that has used them, so that was a good move.

I love how the mr2 has a 4 cyl chop camshafts and how the truck gets moving. It reminds me of surprising my friends with my old t3 Garrett turbo. Boost loading....... Then wrestle that torque steer as you get put in your seat (for what early 90's power could offer on a budget). Yes turbo technology has greatly improved, but there was something fun about hitting the throttle and getting, no power, no power, then hearing the spool and getting all the power lol

@@mike93ehplaidyssey is actually a lame car too. Great build, but it’s meeeehhh. Take it to the track…and what? No tuning, just go. Maybe with mountain pass stuff it would be more interesting (or motronic ECU), but it’s a light switch. Diesel fuel dumping, meanwhile the banks power channel has all the information on how to tune a diesel properly (they have the world records that still stand, before anyone gets hot and bothered that they’re fav diesel tuner is actually a hack). I would like to see more actual driving though. I’m still amazed that I don’t see any big KZbinrs attending SCCA autocross events though. Drag racing is cool, drifting is lame as fuck (It’s the figure skating of motorsports).

That will work well! With such a big turbo, you get more performance by shortening the manifold length than positioning the turbo in the front! Spooling faster beats a bit more of clear air intake, as this big turbo will suck as much air you want anyway!

May want to put a dehumidifier or mini split in that storage. Those boxes seem to hold moisture quite a bit in Florida. It could end up artificially rusting stuff out.

Kyle you should speak to you buddy who does the roll cage work or Cleetus chassis guy. I would suggest you add another frame rail from the upper rear cross member/ upper 4 link bar and connect it to the front engine hoop bar. You will be making a ton of power with that 2JZ and will really be moving that chassis

Dude imagine bolting like a s550 mustang rear subframe, diff, suspension to this thing, revising the front suspension, and building a drift car out of it. That thing would be so fuggin gnarly in drift. Get like 65° of steering angle, set it up super soft out back with a big sway bar, no sway bar up front. Thats the move man thats how my sn95 is set up and i definitely have one of the most squared away drift cars in the local scene where i live. She's on 3 wheels at full lock in every gear. The old girl straight up EATS.

Put that turbo next to the Rowdasseys turbo for us to see the size.........Be interesting to see if that vband flange cracks, normally when welding a cast manifold you wanna heat it up with a gas torch first and tap it with a hammer as it cools down.... that it with stock manifolds.

The difference between that cast manifold you have and a factory cast manifold is the material it's made of. Factory cast manifolds are cast iron. That one is cast stainless. There is a night and day difference between the 2 materials. Especially for what it's being used for
