Fun fact - That riff was used as an outro for several years, it became such a routine part of their performance that they decided to make a whole song around it!

I love this song. Even though this song was written for their 7th album they've been playing the main riff since their early days as a live jam an back then it was known as the "0305030 riff". Don't know If they called it that way then but the fans did.

I know how that goes! On our upcoming album I finally wrote a song for a riff I’ve had for 20 years!

An absolute banger of theirs. I just love hiw they can go from bluesy hard rock to neoclassical and back to the first in a flip of a switch

Also, pause as much as you want, we're watching your REACTION and commentary, after all :)

It’s funny how we get the odd complaint every so often that we pause the songs too much. Why are they bothering watching a reaction if they have a problem? Lol

@@FlameImperishable it would be funny to do a troll video where you guys sit in absolute silence and sometimes "pause" to comment on the sound of silence (heh)

Not sure if you've noticed or read about it, but, this album was actually written as a narrative. So each song leads in to the next as an overall story. Really a cool album all the way through, especially when you take that in to account.

Always loved this album, this and The Resistance are the ones I go back to most these days. I'd love to see you react to something by the band Hällas, a Swedish group I'm listening to everyday at the moment.

i think this is one of those songs which fit in the category of "awesome but not the best of the best", which is kind of a running theme with their main singles, especially as of late. It's still a really cool song but i agree that it's not the bestest best or even the most original thing they made.
