Britney Spears is finally telling her story in her own words with the release of her memoir ‘The Woman In Me’. The memoir, out today, recounts the last 20 years of her life in the spotlight - weighing in on her treatment by the media, her former romantic partners, and her controversial conservatorship which she was in from 2008 to 2021. Britney made Loose Women history when she joined us in the studio back in 2016. The panel will be reflecting on her visit, remembering what the star was like on - and off-camera.

Why are you talking about working with your family? Britney didn't WORK WITH her family, they controlled her and MADE her WORK for them. While abusing her!

These women are the ones who would publicly encourage us all to help people struggling mentally. They saw she was seriously detracting. I bet no one raised concerns to the broadcaster or to britneys team

It's not their job...(& never would have been)...their job to do so. ● Britney's management would have found that offensive. Firstly b/c it would imply they weren't looking after Britney appropriately. And 2ndly...they'd quite rightly advise that Britney was there as a Guest. Not a patient. ● As for expressions of concern to the broadcaster...again not the job or place for these wonderful ladies. ● The choice of whether Britney came on the show was down to Britney, her Publicist, her Manager and her Agent. ● So, if they deemed her fit to go on the show...then it's not the job of these Ladies...or the Broadcaster 2 say any different. ● Broadcasters send invites to Celebs all day long. That's what they do. In-order 2 get guests 4 the show. ● It's up 2 the Celeb if they say 'Yes'. Britney obviously wanted to. So, she said 'Yes' & came on the show. ● So, the Broadcaster has done its job. If u feel/felt that Britney's mental health here was poor...then you'd voice ur concerns directlyb2 Britney's management. Rather than expect these ladies..(or the Broadcaster)...to intervien in something that's 💯% not their business.

@@re7416raising concern about someone’s health is not a job it’s a moral duty. And the original comment is right, these women do talk about mental health a lot but when it comes to ensuring whether someone is okay… they shy away!

🤦🏼‍♀️ - No. That's the job of Britney's publicist & IG. The loose women are like ur girlfriend u'd have a chat with while @ the hairdressers. Or u've met 4 a coffee. So, naturally, the conversation's gonna be about what she was like, how u thinknu might cope with her life if that were you, etc, etc. So, that's what these lasses are doing. Plus...they've the bonus of having met her.

Not surprised at all why Britney was a bag of nerves. With everything going on in her life, the media ripping her to shreds.. don't know who to trust and who would take advantage of her. It was like the whole world was against her. Thank god she's come through it all. Go Britney.. you are such a strong woman ❤

Sadly the court is corrupted and bribed easily e.g. Britney's conservatorship was illegal, she never had "amnesia" like they claimed she did and at the same time they had her work constantly without freedom to just see people, do what she wanted etc. It just shows we can't trust the court to protect us.
@brandyb2931
@brandyb2931 7 ай бұрын
Her family came in at a time where she was abusing substances and going off the rails when the conservatorship was put in place. In all honesty, she needed it. What she didn't need was for it to be in place for 13 years. But imo, that was due to courts and attorneys bleeding that for every penny they could get from her. When it was made public they all decided it was a bad look and it was finished.

She was treated like a golden goose; her father practically pimped her out and took all the profits of her hard work. He ironically called her a "disgrace'' after she shaved her head and went on the Umbrella rampage; he was literally verbally abusing the daughter who gave him a life of luxury.

I don’t know what point the Loose Women were trying to achieve by showing that particular clip from the Britney interview, because the clip they shown just proved how none of the ladies on the panel that day would even let Britney speak or answer the many questions they bombarded her with in one go! Every time Britney tried to talk, Coleen or Nadia would interject and speak again, so of course Britney seemed standoffish and nervous and shy - she couldn’t get a word in!! But the rest of the interview (the parts we didn’t see in this video) Britney came across very relaxed and down to earth, and to be honest, much more human than she had in press interviews for at least a decade prior. Britney has always been shy and nervous with interviews and with how intrusive the press has been throughout her life it’s understandable as to why, but the ‘Glory’ era was Britney getting her confidence back, Loose Women and Jonathan Ross interviews included! Also, this video proves the Moose Women don’t know a thing. Talking about “working with your family” when that is NOT what happened with Britney! Britney had no choice!! She was CONTROLLED and ABUSED by her family! She didn’t ask to work with/for them!!!

I'm curious.... where is BRITNEY in her midst of BOOK RELEASED?!! usually, celebrities go on worldwide tour to promote their MEMOIR ...... going on shows,etc.......... but, BRITNEY SPEARS is being quiet & not promoting her 📖 .. very questionable 🤔 😕 😮..
@DanielJLacey
@DanielJLacey 7 ай бұрын
Britney doesn’t need to promote her book. She’s Britney Spears. It’s going to sell well without her needing to promote it. Plus, why would she want to actively go on TV to do interviews to promote a book that contains a 13 year long abuse and forceful work? If she doesn’t want to work ever again, that’s her prerogative. Either way, us fans will support her and will be here for her if and when she ever does decide to work again, just like we’ve made her book a global bestseller already!
