I am truly surprised at how big Christmas is in Thailand.. I never expected such a westernized thing to be so celebrated there. I was there again from 24th Nov to 11th Dec and pretty much concreted how much I love Thailand.

Displaying lights during Christmas predates the holiday itself. It started in Scandinavian countries to brighten up Winter Solstice to turning night into day. Christmas is forever, not just for one day, for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The good you do for others is good you do yourself. Merry Christmas to you all who are coming to celebrate happily. Thanks for sharing your thoughts by decorating and decide what to buy for the kids in this winter season too. You are the most kind to the kids and celebrating with the adults with fun and happiness Christmas Party wishes too.

I love seeing the kids jumping and laughing and concentrating on their little tasks. You two obviously generate a lot of happiness. I rarely watch one of your videos without a gormless smile on my face too. Merry Christmas and best wishes to you both.

I’ve spent some money on bikes over the years. Never regretted a dime. One $30 pink trike comes to mind. Every grandkid rode and loved it.😉

Yes there are a lot of Thailand bloggers but those who enjoy and appreciate your content are not watching them. I for one would be sad to see you go but appreciate the amount of work that goes into entertaining us, and if it became too much would totally understand. A merry Christmas and peaceful new year to you all. ❤

Damo your dress is so beautiful! We will be in Thailand in March for three weeks and I'd love to buy one similar. Are they sold in shops in Bangkok? I love how it matched the bougainvillea at the start :)

Buying gifts for kids is ALWAYS hit and miss. You can spend$2 on a treasure and $200 on something that goes in the garbage. It’s frustrating! The party prob means more to the kids than the gifts. As a Granny I’ve taken to purchasing experiences for them rather than stuff😉

Does the Thai culture know and discuss the Christian origin of Christmas…The Son of God was born of a virgin and died to bring salvation to mankind?
@lifeinruralthailandСағат бұрын
Not that i know of, in the schools they treat it more like a commercial holiday
@siscott606643 минут бұрын
Why would they want to know it's not part of their religious beliefs the Thais are very welcoming to other religions it's part of their religious beliefs of tolerance but don't push it on them that's what I can make out of it but why would I know I am an atheist anyway, the Thais do love a party so why not have a party of Christmas with presents for the kids I don't think the Buddhist religion has anything like this in their Buddhist calendar were the kids get spoilt and have a party and it's an excuse for the parents to get Mao and chat.
