Louie!! You sharing your ADHD and how you learn differently, it really hit home for me! Having ADHD growing up was so hard & made me feel like I was dumb. Like why is it so hard for me to get things? Why do I have to struggle and try so much harder to remember things and learn more than everyone else? School was so hard for me and just doing adult things was a challenge. But now at 28 I understand myself so much more and have accepted myself!💗 I learned to love the imperfect things about me and found great ways to help myself navigate life. My personality is unique and I wouldn’t change it for anything! My son also has ADHD and I’m able to understand and support him because I know how it feels. Me accepting and loving myself helps me to better help my son the best I can. Thank you for being so open! We love you! 💗thank you for representing for this community and inspiring others to just be YOU! Your personality is beautiful!

I’m a current college student and I struggle with my ADHD too. The fact that you mentioned how you couldn’t focus at home doing school work and u go to the campus to study is literally me!! I feel like I spend so much time on school more than the average student should. Being ADHD is a struggle but I feel like people diagnose with ADHD are fun to be around with bc we don’t give a fuck it’s all about enjoying the moment.

I love that you are sharing on different approaches/styles to learning! I had the same issue in school & thought I was stupid as a child because it took me longer to learn but like you I am a visual learner. There are so many children/young people/adults who have gotten a negative message about themselves because they have a different learning style. I never thought I would go to college and get good grades but I did; once I learned about different learning styles & approaches. I wish more teachers would take these learning styles serious and implement them within their classes daily. : ) and to the children who find it hard to sit down for eight hours!! Me too as an adult! Lol who came up with this concept?? Lol

Omg! The ADD thing happened to me too, my mom said that I became literally like a zombieeee! And she took me off and never put me back on medication! You remind me so much of me 😭❤️ I was super hyper growing up so my mom also finally took me to the dr and they prescribed medication and didn’t like it so she took me off. I, too was hyperactive growing up and also had hard times focusing. 26 years old now and I’m definitely doing a lot better - all while he unmedicated. I have my moments still but I’ve been able to control myself better 🥹 I love watching y’all and I’m glad you made a KZbin version of the podcast! 💖
