As a 3rd gen I JUST went on a rant on Snapchat about the deportations. The amount of people who lack compassion is disgusting. And to see people who are 1st or 2nd gen support someone who’s creating this mess is embarrassing to see. Glad you guys are outspoken about this!❤️

I love Louie and yoa so much and As well as all the Latinos. But a lot of Latinos who don't study politics have it really wrong.. although it might be hard to see immigrants (not just of Latin descent) get deported, it's also just the law that's been in place for so long & the US isn't the only country who enforces those laws. Mexico does the same thing to Guatemaltecos for example or any other immigrant. It's not new & it didn't stop when a democrat was in office. If you want this country to be @ it's best you can't have the opposing party in office for many reasons. This country isn't even what it was when our parents or grandparents first made it here. It was much easier to make a living & establish a future for your family. That is not possible anymore thanks to inflation the cost of living. So l don't even advise anyone trying to make it out of their country to come here anymore. & if you care about your family make sure you work to get them the papers they need to stay here. There is help out there for Immigrants I promise you.

I’m from Salinas, a city known as the salad bowl due to the lettuce fields. I worked in Watsonville in the strawberry fields during the summers while in high school and college so I get you guys, I have the same feeling. Growing up with farm workers and being a daughter of immigrants farm works, it hurts seeing my people.

People need to stop brining up your finances to you guys and how it’s spent. If you talk to a person who has good finances/wealth, $1000 is STILL a $1000 regardless of their bank accounts. Money may loose volume but never value. I hate the comparison of “WHY DO INFLUENCERS COMPLAIN ABOUT $100” because it’s still $100 babe!! 😂

hi guys! Liberal Studies major🙋🏻♀️ Ive had to read this article called Strawberries in Watsonville by Peggy Morrison for a couple of my courses because it was about a teacher who did a research study in one of their classes.. The lesson was about the strawberry life cycle but she noticed how much the students learned and participated once they were able to go home and use their parents and family members knowledge on strawberries (because of the fields). It was a super interesting article and I wrote a paper on it. You could see how the students were able to really understand and interact with the topic because they knew so much about it and their parents finally got a chance to include themselves in their child’s life.. it made a difference to everyone. Some of the students even expanded to talk about how they knew when the strawberry season began because their uncles would come stay with them for work. Others said they’d live with other families when there was less work. I love thinking about this article when I hear you guys talk about you home! I got to learn a little about Watsonville and how students are deeply connected to their roots and can include it in their education if teachers would realize how much of a difference it would make !

10:58 Loui I first of all want to say that I love how you are very open about not knowing much about politics. Can I just ask you to please lookup how many of our poor innocent children are being trafficked in the border. Please someone needs to speak out about this! These poor innocent children need someone to speak out and NOBODY DOES IT‼️‼️in just the first week of trump being in office he has saved so many children. All these missing children are being found🥺🥺🥺🥺🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️PLEASE inform yourselves about this!!! ❤
@S6xxen11 сағат бұрын
Yup! Almost half a million children lost and Trump has found around 80,000. If that doesn’t tell you he doesn’t care then it’s hard to believe our Hispanic community does if their not mentioning it.
@Christopher-ij5zr11 сағат бұрын
Yes exactly. Trump’s administration and border czar have made it very clear the dangers of having an open, porous border that incentives these kinds of things that end in mass death, sexual assault, human trafficking, and drug trafficking. The issue is much more than what the media leads the people to believe. Kudos to Trump and his administration for simply doing what no other President would do before - which is simply enforcing the bipartisan laws that have been on the books for decades.

Before you delete this comment or block me, please consider this: Im first gen Mexican-American and I voted for trump. My mom came here illegally and my dad the opposite. As a PRIVILEDGED Hispanic (you two included) I wish you would use that to help and advocate of what Trump is actually for the working class and the minority. It’s ignorant to call what’s happening rn as an act of racism. People who think that are priviledged and it shows. Yoatzi, I’m disappointed that as a college graduate you’re taught to read and inform yourself of the facts and the way you guys speak about this issue shows the opposite. You’re a dreamer. Trump has spoken about dreamers and you’re telling me he’s racist? If you think so, then don’t speak about the issue because you obviously haven’t been reading. It pisses me off that you two as influencers you guys don’t take the time and effort to educate yourself of both sides. You two can’t speak of what Mexican immigrants go through. It’s easy to sit on a couch while tossing a squishy around talking about issues when they don’t affect you in any way. You guys are influencers, making waaaaaaaay more than the average person. It’s giving Salena. Do something about it then if it pisses you off. People constantly get robed, killed, raped, & stranded by coyotes who get paid thousands of dollars to cross and it’s never a guarantee and you sit there supporting that? Nobody in their right state of mind would criticize the US especially Trump for actually reducing the casualties that happen at the border. If you say not to go to Mexico because of how I think? Then don’t call the cops when someone trespasses to your home, don’t go to Starbucks, Dutch, target, etc. Unlike you, I’ll use my privilege to advocate for my Mexicans to be both pretty AND smart. I love my people so much & if I have to sit here educating and protecting them while looking like the bad guy then so be it.
@mommadeenaa11 сағат бұрын
Exactly. Im seeing immigrants protesting but if only they used that same energy to protest in their country to make it a better place, instead of coming here and making it worse for us… we aren’t against them coming here but they need to do it the right way with the correct documentations. They knew this day would come , yet they chose to cross and put their family/kids in harm by crossing illegally..therefore it does make them a criminal… i love America and it’s only right for us to be put first, this is our home.
@JaviPHaro11 сағат бұрын
How is he for the working class? When he’s raising taxes for the working class? Groceries aren’t down, gas isn’t as well. Why are they arresting people who aren’t even immigrants but only because they “look Hispanic/ Latino”…? He wants the rich richer and the poor… well you know, POOR.. I’m not trying to argue or be a prick I’m just genuinely curious on how Latinos for trump think… thanks. 🙏🏾
@Christopher-ij5zr10 сағат бұрын
@@JaviPHarogroceries and gas aren’t down - um he’s been in office for all of 10 days. No rational person thought he would get in office, snap his fingers, and bring prices down. These things take just as much time as it did for the prices to inflate. The policies his administration advocates for, like energy production for example, will help bring prices down. Whether that happens or not is another story, but the idea that “the prices aren’t down yet” when he was literally just inaugurated into office last Monday is naive and misinformed of the bigger picture.
@S6xxen10 сағат бұрын
@ he’s giving food stamps for parents who work full time jobs, he’s giving tax breaks for stay at home moms, he is currently in the process of removing federal taxes to have more money in our pockets, illegal immigrants who have no criminal records & show they’ve been paying taxes wont get deported as well as dreamers, & immigrants currently under process of legal status, he also wants children of illegal immigrants-parents who finish a college degree become citizens after graduation.. also, we can’t expect everything to be in affect when’s he’s only been president less than 2 weeks. if you wanna talk about rich being richer he’s lost money during his first presidency compared to the Democratic Party who went from single-digit millionaires to double digits. Who do you think paid their promotions?! US! The POOR! I’m not lying lol look it up.
