Our Seed Haul for 2023 Season | first of many! |

Seed haul videos are always some of my favorites to watch of other channels! Hope you enjoy seeing what we're planting this year, here on the Corner Lot :)

LOL. Before coming to Tennessee, we lived in Alaska on an island for 5 years; however, we are native SE Floridians! So funny you mentioned them!

Lettuce likes cool weather and will do fine in shade. I germinate mine in sun and then plant in partial shade in 7a TN. Peppers need heat and even more patience. They can take weeks to germinate and are very slow growers. Start them now in a small planting cup or solo cup in a window...put mine in a clear plastic mini tote 2 weeks ago. No germination yet; even the tomatoes have germinated. I will be patient and wait though. I know from previous years, those peppers will grow.

Thanks for sharing your seed haul. If you ever need to buy a second case, make sure to get it from a craft store instead of Amazon. They have the same ones at Hobby Lobby for $14.99.

I have been using these cases for a couple years now. If you have a Michael's nearvyou, watch their sales. I got ours for $6. They usually have that sale in October or November.

That's very helpful information, thank you! I do know of a Michael's near me, so I will definitely check it out. 😊 I am needing more and more space as my collection grows, for sure!
