Our son woke up before sunrise

Today Leon woke up very early and was super happy and ready for the day, then John gave Leon chocolate for breakfast and we all took a nap before making dinner.

Rice is great with dinners like that! If you don't have a rice cooker, you HAVE to get one!! Best thing ever!! It cooks, and turns to warm automatically when it's done, and can stay on warm for hours without burning. I'm telling you, best invention yet! Lol Oh and a tip, use Jasmine rice. Tastes exactly like the sticky white rice that you get with Chinese takeout. 😉😊

For crock pot meals it's 4-6 hours if on low, if on high it's 2-4 hours :),,I make so many meals in the crock pot especially during the summer, it doesn't heat up the house & of course sometimes I cook outside on the grill. Leon will love it, it looks so good! He is just so sweet.

Hi Jody! I’m from the Appalachian Mountains as well, and we call chopped steak, ‘bucket steak’, cause the coal miners would pack it in their lunch bucket! But I make it by putting flour on the steaks, then frying them in butter or oil, with some canned mushrooms! Comes out delicious every time!

The best way to cook cubed steak it to fry it... BUT don't just throw it in a pan cuz it will be really tough. The best way is to put an entire sleeve of saltine crackers in a zip lock bag and crush them really fine with a rolling pin (or even a cup), then crack and egg or 2 and beat well.. Season the egg with S&P, and you can add garlic powder, onion powder or whatever you like to the crackers, pour crackers into a bowl, dip meat into egg then press WELL into crackers untill coated well. Have oil heating in a deep skillet (about and inch of oil) and then fry them until golden!! Served with mashed potatoes and gravey this is PHENOMENAL! And the steaks aren't tough, they come out tender with a good chew! Hope you'll try this!! (Add a few teaspoons of flour or cornstarch to a little cold water and stir in the pot about an hour before it's done and it will make gravy)

Try this: Cube steak, floured and lightly fried on each side, put in crock pot with crushed tomato, peppers (red, green, ) onions and mushrooms (optional) and let cook for about 4-6 hrs and serve over rice. Its amazing!!

You can add a pack of Lipton onion recipe and a can of cream of mushroom soup just pour that over the steak and put it in your Crock Pot it makes a really good gravy and it makes a steak cook tastes really good you just start in the morning and the let it cook until you think it's done it's really good with mashed potatoes that's really good

Jodie, I know it’s usual to be more tired in pregnancy but are you extra more than you’d expect or experienced with Leon? I’m just wondering if you may be slightly anemic and with baby using your blood that it’ll be making you more tired? As a fellow lady who has pcos and am anemic because of ten pcos simply because of how heavy my cycles are it just made me wonder. I really sincerely hope this doesn’t come across wrong and that you know I’m not trying to tell you what to do but am simply concerned. I love you all, Leon and both of you make me smile. This pregnancy is harder than Leons was at this current stage but I think it's just normal pregnancy tired because it's not excessive or anything, now the morning sickness that is intense haha
