Today we got Leon some new shoes that fit his braces and then we talk about what we should get for the baby to sleep in, and Leon is talkative and laughing the entire time

It's fun watching Leon standing up. I used a mini crib and a pack n play when I babysat my 2 young grandkids. The pack n play used the same size mattress as the crib. So each one had a nice sturdy mattress. With the less expensive diapers, I used to tear a small hole in the first diaper, then I put another diaper on top of the first one. Especially helps at night.

I had a mini pack and play that came with a bassinet insert and a changing station with storage for diapers and wipes. We got it specifically for the RV & camping, I loved it SO much I used it untill she was about 14 months old. It folded, was breathable, it also had a canopy, played music, sounds, vibrations. I wish people could leave pics for others to see. I really loved it. The bassinet feature was a lifesaver at night, i didn't have to get up and reach down for the baby, I could sit up and pick her up right from my bed. It didn't look like a normal pack & play, it was so beautiful yet small and had a lot of useful features for an extremely small space. I'm so excited to see the baby whe he/she comes!

We were always pampers people too they hold so much more plus he always leaked through all the cheaper ones, i know it sounds weird but as he got older he was able to wear them longer . Leon thankyou for making me smile.

Leon getting stronger everyday, I think the crib is a good idea. The baby wouldn't be always in it only nap times and bed time during the day you could get the baby bouncer's etc.

Leon you let go - even if he leaned a little he was choosing to let go - just wait you are going to have a new born baby and get ready bc you will be chasing Leon all over!!! I truly believe he is getting excited bc he is trying to figure out his how to walk - and as he walks around the bed he is just so adorable bc he knows he has accomplished something - I think if u hold a car-car or a book or his favorite toy he may try to walk - u can just tell by looking at him he really wants to walk - keep up the good work Leon you are amazing!

Depending on how open you are to the idea of co-sleeping, our plan has always been to get an Arm'sReach crib that attaches to the side of the parents' bed and also stands on 2 legs I think. But anyway, it has 3 stable crib walls and the 4th one that lines up with your bed has an easily collapsable side rail for bringing the baby to the breast without waking either of you up too terribly much!

Pack n plays are good, at my grandparents’ house my little cousin uses a pack n play. They last a long time the pack n play at they house was mine I believe then my sister used it, many years later it only has a few holes in the mesh A mini crib sounds nice too.

We always used Huggies when our boys were little. And we tested out all of the diapers also, the Huggies for us just worked really well!

Have you tried LUVS diapers? They worked as well as Pampers for my kids when they were older, they smell really good like Pampers too! And they hold ALOT. I hate character shoes and clothes lol. I can handle a tshirt with a character and thats it. I love the shirt you have on its super cute!!

@@jjtime I only used Pampers, but I had received LUVS as a gift and loved them. I think it's cool that you can get a script for diapers! That was unheard of when I cared for a disabled foster child. I feel like if a child is going to need diapers past a certain age or need them for life, they should be covered!

With my KAFO braces I wear a size 3 kids shoe (I’m 25 lol) and without them I wear a size 1 kids. So it’s completely normal to have to buy shoes a size or two bigger than usual to accommodate his braces. But I also noticed the braces extend really far past his toes. That seems really odd to me. I’ve never had my braces extend that far past my toes
